I really want to experiment with the new build the top MWs are theory crafting around one covenant, but it comes at the expense of losing the covenant that’s okay-ish at everything and pigeonholes me into a specific talent setup that I won’t be able to change.

I’d love for the cosmetic choice and renown rewards to remain locked, keep the mission table bonus fun stuff locked and just let anyone play through all the stories and collect all the soulbinds and give us the abilities based on our equiped soulbind.
If they made it so soulbinds were linked with your spec I’d be find with them implementing a gold charge to swap out a soulbind from a spec even. Just no time gating please!
I hated azerite armor too. But you could at least earn separate sets of the same pieces to get around the restrictions.
There really isn’t a way around the covenant restrictions.
That’s because they mentioned that there were strong disagreements about the restrictions even within the development team.
