Flesh shield isn’t a class ability it is a signature ability.
Class abilities are meant to work with a specific class. So that is truly an apple and oranges comparison .
Not as small as the group that would be effected if they pulled it. No one loses then.
It’s essentially the same argument as saying no to a free million dollars because it would mean that someone you don’t like would get a million dollars too. Pointlessly spiteful.

In an interview ion hazzakostas said something along the lines of “if covenants really don’t work and we need to open them up to everyone we can pull that rip cord too” that’s where the phrase comes from
The anti-ripcorders would never be like that. It’s not like half of them haven’t openly admitted they’re trolling or are mad at changes like removing TF.
No they just want it for the meaningful choices and the story perspective of not trusting someone because they helped out your millenia long allies.

You will have to explain how an arbitrary choice where we help all other covenants with no recourse, makes my choice distinctive and fun.

You can say what you want, I had my paladin friend fleshcraft an abomination shield to protect me from your negativity. And even if you break that, my warlock friend summoned the holy angel swolebro and got me a cleansing pot to cleanse my brain of whatever nonsense you scream at me.

You know the necrolord representative in the original SL trailer was a lightforged Draenei paladin? It’s like you can pick any covenant with any class and it will make sense.
I agree, just like a Kyrian who goes to assist in Maldraxxus would know how to fleshcraft an abomination shield. I used to think you were completely unreasonable, but I feel like we’re really making some headway here.
