Public orders without mats was a mistake

Oh, I’d say about anyone who starts in normal and works their way up, or anyone that raids/does M+ casually.

Thing is most of the player base likely either does not do mythic or, if they do, it is the “loot piñata” bosses. Mythic players, like your self (I have another term, but don’t want to risk a forum vacay) need to realize that there is more then just mythic and things like the crafting are meant for all levels of play.

Really… how dishonest and pathetic can you get?

You think people dishing out large amounts of gold for expensive items and consumables are happy to get lower quality ones because they run a easier difficulty?

Sod off

Blizz added a filter that has mats I believe. So you can filter out those work orders.

Not really. Why did we, the requesters, have to tip 5k+ for anything after spending a ton on materials as well+rerolls to max quality? And all crafters do is press a button.

Congrats on exposing a flaw and trolling method that can get you suspended. I’ll be sure to report you and this exploit so it gets reduced to 5minutes or less and it doesn’t become widespread.

Edit: Report on you filed.

lol

Whatever the belief is called that says laissez-faire “free markets” are perfect and perfectly self-correcting is like a religion at this point.

Also, like religion, never trust any world view that gives you the answers before having heard the question.

No, I think they are fools who perpetuate the idea that you have to have the best to do anything.

To put it bluntly:
Blizzard balances each difficulty around what they expect or feel people that run them will have.

The community, I.E. YOU AND YOUR ILK push the narrative that you have to have the best available to do anything.

Gee, insulting one that gets what they can and, oh I don’t know, MAKES THE BEST OF IT. I sometimes get the best, I sometimes don’t.

If you are really so intent on pushing the idea that WoW has never been balanced around less then the best, answer me this: why is mythic not balanced around going in with mythic lvl gear for even the first boss? Why are these top guilds and such able to clear mythic bosses with little, if any, mythic level gear?

For someone like me who is on low pop/rp servers(ive been here since before my friend passed away, don’t have the $ to just up and move), that’s all we get.

Until Blizz starts putting WO’s as a regional thing, this is going to continue to happen. No one should have to realm transfer or move to a new server to be able to do Work Orders.

Ahh its stupidity not malice should known.

There is a reason why the difference between a rank 1 and rank 2 uncut gem is 1g and the difference between rank 2 and 3 is 1400g. Players don’t want to invest in garbage.

Mythic is tuned for heroic gear at the start and full mythic later. This tier was finished via split pushing for extra mythic trinkets… if your ignorant of what is being discussed your not forced to post.

A fool can be mistaken for wise till he speaks.

They can craft it themselves at that point if they want.

interacting with people and having a server rep are very 2004 concepts. Not sure they should have come back.

I mean… it feels good. I had the same opinion before DF, but now I actually enjoy all the encounters with different people. There’s so much positive interactions and I’m always happy when other people are happy with their items they’ve got from me.
The problem isn’t WO’s in my opinion. It’s that Blizzard has been, until this day, still too lazy to merge more of the low pop servers. I don’t get why this has stopped years ago and they just don’t care.

Still no reason to hold hostage crafting orders for 30mins at a time, that speaks volumes about what kind of person they are irl. Petty act in my opinion. Regardless, I’ve reported them. I love it when people self-incriminate themselves.

Another insult

Yeah, and that reason is people KNOW that fools will see the high quality and pay for it.

Oh, and as far as the stupidity? here is my thing: I make all of my own gems, gear, etc. Everything I make is done by another character I have. All I am ever out is cost of mats and I know how to make sure I get the highest rank I can. If it is not the best (I.E. 3/5 star) I make due until I can craft again and get the best.

Either work within the system or find a way to minimize your involvement with it.

Oh, Btw, if you were ever on my server and put in an order I could fill on one of my toons, I would do the work for free/cost of insight (which I would place around 500 gold) if you provided the mats, if I had to provide the mats I would do it for cost of mats + cost of insight.

I haven’t done that. I just ignore orders that dont have mats.

If people want the good stuff they pay extra if they want. If not settle for lower quality.

And with public orders, it is almost always better to expect the lower quality.

They explained their philosophies, that doesn’t make them good philosophies. Leaving room for people to be malicious, dumb or uninformed on principle for vague reasons like “letting the market work it out” and setting it up so that people will be “taught” through their mistakes to use the system the way that Blizzard envisions it will be used, where a handful of Trade Goblins command huge prices from a handful of whales and everyone else just kind of bounces off the entire crafting system and writes it off entirely for an expansion until the “experiment” is finally allowed to die.

You counter point is just master every trade…?

Look you see me as being short with you but every post you make is just horribly thoughtout and weirdly elitist. We can’t move forward and humor you at the same time.

I mean I reported that dwarf who did it, not you. Im glad your sensible enough to not be so petty like them.

Yup. Put in a cheap commision. Don’t expect me to waste my artisan’s mettle to guarentee rank 3 diamonds.

Okay cool. And I still should be able to set a tier list for public orders.

If i’m already giving you max quality mats and someone is giving me a 3 star piece of gear, I’m gonna be mad. Allowing people to have a tier system helps negate the frustration of tipping well only to not have your item made as you want.
