The Goblins never had a real city of their own with vendors, portals or inn. It is time that to change.
Yeah, and it will be neutral like the goblin city of Gadetzan, lore wise. They want trade with all races. It is their whole thing.
Horde. Goblins are a Horde race. Get that right.
Lol whatever you say.
Goblins are a OG race of the Horde just like Orcs. It would be wrong on all points to not keep them that way.
All I can say is that if, after all the neglect, they have Goblins (as part of the plot and not as bad guys), but they center it around neutral Goblin cartels instead of the Bilge Water cartel, then one has to suspect the Blizzard is deliberately neglecting the Horde.
They really werenât though. They were neutral mercs. Only time they âofficiallyâ joined the horde was with the bilgewater. Their heritage quest, with gazlowe, showed that they are still neutral and only the bilgewater are with the horde. They want to keep trade and Merc up for everyone. Not just the horde.
Honestly, instead of pandas, the goblins should have been the neutral race.
Thatâs the issue with goblins being more than just a horde race. Venture Co is going to be the main topic.
Nice to see bilgewater doing a bit of trade war stuff that goblins lore is known for.
The best known Goblins in the game are, for the majority of players, the Bildgewater Cartel. As I said, if they decide to use lesser known neutral cartels, it is hard to see it as anything be deliberate.
Donât know about that. For us vanilla players, venture Co was always the big dog goblins right until cata. But for the most part, venture Co and steamweadile were the ones most written about.
But I was always the venture Co. Theyâre kinda like the evil big underground corporations you see in sci-fi settings.
Which didnât happen. Races should stay faction locked.
Venture co are villains.
Venture Co is basically the Czerka Corporation in star wars stuff before the Disney buyout.
Yes, before the Horde race was introduced, they werenât involved much. That was a long time ago.
I mean, goblins where everywhere before the horde clan was introduced. Most of the goblin lore is from outside the bilgewater cartel.
Thatâs the Steamwheedle. They too will join the Horde.
And the most known Goblins are Gazlowe and Gallywix. Not Razdunk or Noggenfogger.
Maybe the crystal is the top of Beledar and the Goblins will find out what Beledar is and how it got there. Maybe weâll get some Light-worshipping goblins.
Paladin goblins would finally be in the game.
A giant unusual ârockâ on an Island in the deep south of a planetâŚ
Are we finally getting an aussie themed area?
I still maintain Khaz Algar and the underground areas shouldâve been Aussie themed.
A landmass in the south known for mining. Has tons of creatures that want to kill you. Also has giant spiders. A giant rock like structure in the middle of nowhere. That is nothing like the surrounding natural features. Only thing it is missing are a bird that never dies and a bird that wants to poke out your eyeballs while singing.
I hope this means goblins will be playable
Also this could lead to some interesting dynamics between the Goblins and Arathi. They should bring back the parachuting goblin priests too.
