We need an Emu Wars-inspired patch now! And an Emu mount too!
Earthen are like Aussies. Immortal, drinking fire brews, lose their memories if they donât reupload said memories on the computer (instagram), and have strong almost unbreakable bodies. Very resistant to poisons and stabbings as well.
They already areâŚ
Goodness, no!
We adventurers may have fought monsters, dragons, demon lords, the endless hordes of the undead, nameless horrors from between the stars, Titans, and the gods of death itself, but thereâs no way we could survive Australia!
Just noticed that we are kicked out of the City of Echoes the same way we are kicked out of the World Tree area⌠We are only able to access it as a Dungeon!
Therefore letâs bump it up to 4 Zones(Beledar, World Tree, City of Echoes and the Core of Azeroth) one of which was made from a Dungeon!
âMostâ? I doubt it. And nobody cares about what happened in classic.
And, in any case, it would be choice of what is important. If they think it is more important to use screen time on some neutral group where it doesnât matter what it can be, at the expense of continuing to ignore the gaping deficit in Horde lore, that will be a choice.
If you actually think theyâre only going to concentrate on bilgewater only, that is on you.
This isnât a horde story but a goblin one.
I think Raycheeâs point is that if the Bilgewater/Gazloweâs involvement is just being one of multiple groups acting as the generic friendly patch face in a Venture co patch, thats kinda lame.
The plot would likely be better if it was Bilgewater v Venture corporate war and subterfuge vs just being all about the Ventures doing [BAD THING]
You mean you donât want a Horde story, but a Goblin one. You want a story that ignores the playable race and concentrates on characters youâve seen occasionally, esp. in Cataclysm. (Something Blizzard never does with a playable race.)
I mean, I get it. You donât care about some Horde race you donât play. You donât care about how long it has been since the Horde has had anything significant except the villain-bat.
And if Blizzard does what you want, it will be a sign that they donât care either. That there is no chance they will ever change how they write the Horde.
Donât really care if non-horde characters are involved. But the focusâŚ
But lets not pretend that if Blizzard was hinting at a plot for the Draenei, and it turned out to be focused not and the Draenei (and not on the Manari who have joined the Draenei) but on a group that has no real connection to the Draenei, the wouldnât go ballistic. Iâm sure they will claim âit would be fineâ because they donât expect it ever to happen, but all the salt we get when other races are just present in their stories say otherwise.
Goblins are a core race of the Horde. You canât seperate them just like you canât seperate the various alliance leaders we are forced to take quests from from team blue.
To make it easy almost all good goblins we know are part of the Bilgewater and the rest are allied now that the Steamwheedles are on board. There is no way they will make yet another story to kill goblins just for the sake of it.
I mean, you can seperate them, and blizz often does just that when ever goblins show up. They did just that in TWW
They didnât. Those NPCs pretending we are friendly wonât change they tried to kill me 5 years ago. They are alliance and no amount of ignore function overdrive can change this.
Those goblins arent alliance
Theyâre just your average goblins, and besides, it was mostly Gazlow helping those neutral goblins in the Niffen village
You are literally proving my point. Gazlowe is Horde. And Gazlowe talking to them instead of killing them indicates he isnât planning on a massacre. Blizzard will not let you kill spree another Horde race and feel good about it. BFA is over thankfully.
Good thing I donât want to murder spree any horde races. Donât know how many times I have to repeat that Iâm not obessed with the factions like some yâall are.
Goblins are a Horde race. People vouching for a goblin raid say they want to kill goblins. I rather prefer the option where we travel to Beledar on a badas flying airship instead and put Undermine on backburner until we can introduce it as real city.
I just want both sides to get some much needed love. Itâs not asking for much that blizz give both sides equal footing in the story going forward.
It starts with Blizzard to stop using Horde races as their mobs for raids.
Certaintly. Itâs been a problem with blizz not using the horde, outside of villain batting them. I mean, even Thrall in TWW was literally a Blink and youâll miss it moment. Which seems to be blizzs current MO regarding the horde in general lately
