people will flag over nearly anything and the only thing keeping most people from being banned is that the mods are in a good mood. nearly anything can be considered trolling. even disagreeing with someone and 15 people reporting you will do it.

Doesn’t even need to be 15 other people. I could flag you right now on 15 different toons. That’s how dumb this forum setup is.

I could switch to 50 different toons and like this post. Fact is, there is a lot of things on the new forums that needs to be fixed. For example, Flagging and Liking should be made account wide, not character wide.

it was better when all your toons shared one post count. there’s plenty of people bumping their own threads with classic toons or alts that really should be getting in trouble and they’re not.

I think Classic toons should not be able to post on the forums. Some of the nonsense people post on a classic toon makes it really hard to confirm who they really are.

Blizz has “said” that people who do this will get in trouble but I mean they barely do anything on this forum to begin with so their threats kinda rings hollow for just about most.

This would make my life so much easier. I bounce around my alts (not to post to myself or anything I just enjoy my alts) and I really would like to see what I’ve already liked and/or flagged so I don’t do it a second time. Lol

the classic toons who troll retails GD are some of the worst. if that game was as fun as they say it is and so much better than retail why aren’t they playing it instead of wasting hours on retails GD trolling. :stuck_out_tongue: i play both and post on this toon on both forums. i’m not sure how they could allow you to post on both with the same toon though. since retail people don’t like classic toons on their forum and the opposite.

Don’t get me wrong, there is some features that I do like of the new forums, but there is a lot of features on the new forums that are really unreliable and annoying.

  • Trust Level Systems: Should be removed. It is easy to earn something, but then it is also easy to lose something because of one person could disagree with something and flag to oblivion using alts.
  • Character Wide Likes: I seen this a few times where someone would make a thread or post in a thread, then would switch to all there alts to like there own post as if to say “it is a popular post”
  • Character Wide Flags: An easy system to abuse. Something that also keeps getting threads locked for no reason too.

TBH if you’re on a west coast server, playing on the west coast, on a game by a west coast company, they can suck a fat one for reporting. It’s 100% legal here. There is not one state, country or region in that timezone where it’s illegal lol. CA, OR, WA, Canada, AK, Mexico, pretty sure it’s ok.

Exactly. Some of these systems in the forums should be unified to the account not the character.

you used to get a lot more flags for one toon. they got rid of that so people have been alt hopping to flag things. and afaik you can use different toons to flag different people but you’ll get in trouble if you use 5 toons to flag the same person.

Didn’t Blizzard say that Seed of Corruption needs to be planted at the right time of year otherwise it will become the flower pot of disappointment?

I switch between my warlock and priest (Alliance and Horde respectively depending on my mood tbh). But I never engage in the same conversation twice, as in I won’t reply to a statement from two characters.

A lot of people do this, and I saw it recommended once if u want to change your character it should just change your past posts to that character too.

Though some people may be talking to themselves a lot of times I think. But I think the idea would do a world of good personally.
