they even clarified further on how it works. Nothing of real value has been lost. The world will continue to turn. And they’re probably going to wind up hotfix giving you the missing currency at some point anyway, like they always do.
Heh… they clarified 700 posts down after people had been complaining for 10 hours. I’d already lost the tokens by that point.
Yeah, in my case, it’s not a big deal. I’ll make more than enough doing visions this week to buy the one essence that my alt has. But the customer service on this is atrocious as usual. I’m still leaving my ticket in their queue until they figure out how to fix themselves though.
Like i said, they can leave BfA to burn, no skin off my back, I’d rather they never even bothered with this time waster and just put 100% effort into getting SL good and out.

Yeah Blizz did a crappy job (as usual when it comes to this stuff), but the fact that people still log in first thing on a Tuesday when a new thing is implemented and then complain when something doesn’t work properly is just mind boggling. I mean, I’m happy there’s beta testers out there since I’m at work when the reset happens, but it’s still crazy that people haven’t learned.

You just highlighted the problem yourself. They implemented a new thing without giving anyone outside the company the opportunity to test it.
And still nothing of value was lost. At least another 5-6 months of BfA, you’ll have time to get everything you might want.

Cracks me up that the blind followers are forgetting that this system only exists to cover for the crappy implementation of essences for the last several months. It still doesn’t address the problem for those that quit in 8.2 over it and is the first time since BC an old content power gain wasn’t just given outright to the player or the method for gaining it trivialized other than a one off trinket and maybe a couple of the MoP cloak quests.

I saw the notice to log in to my primary character first on the character select screen.
There was a post on the forums about 12 hrs before but yeah ok.
Developers should post on forums only.
