Sigh…
Well…
Sigh…
Well…
Like the “I’m a Dude, He’s a Dude, She’s a Dude, 'Cause We’re all Dudes, Hey!” song, from Good Burger?

Episode 3, I didn’t watch the acolyte but I read the summary cannon was broken and cringe space witches chant.
I know this will trigger some people, but male and female are more than enough. It’s what you are born as.
What you then interpret into your identity, or what you see in your avatar, is up to each individual. But inventing a pronoun for absolutely everything is a waste of resources and time. WoW has much bigger problems.
the power of ONE
the power of TWO
the power of MANY
for real though despite the cringe the chorus sounds good maybe these actors should be singers instead
that devolved rather quickly. imma head out
I hear ya bud.
Is “Champion” a pronoun?
Your majesty will suffice thank you very much.
Call me Champ.
So it took 80 replies for someone to call this a troll post, and basically no one else does. Some time back (a year ago maybe?) I created a post about my autistic niece getting upset over people using the term retarded and reply after reply was I must be trolling, and my post was greyed out within 5 min. Is this really the state of society these days?
Regarding the request, I would much rather Bliz work on having a release that isn’t so bad they cough up a day of free game time for all subscribing players to help make up for it. Logically speaking, from a developer point of view, if they took the time to add in all requests they’re given that seemingly only take a few hours to implement, they would spend an entire year catching up on them, with no time spent for actual content.
As for people quitting the game over lack of pronouns, you need to open your eyes on just how small the portion of the playerbase is that care enough about this to actually quit over it.
“A rose by any other name is still a rose”
Now people have feelings and sometimes they are confused. If someone like that came up to me in real life and asked me to refer to them as he/she I would probably do it. It is a kindness after all.
You know what doesn’t win points. This (YOU"RE MISGENDERING ME I DEMAND YOU TO CALL ME ____" I would remove myself entirely from the crazy person, and my kindness here would be my silence.
This
Is rather harsh, but not untrue.
I probably shouldn’t say this here but “Champ” really gets under my skin. Seething rage kind of deal.
Hero, adventurer, maw walker, commander, mortal, champion and so on.
Do you think hydrophobic materials are scared of water, too?
Nobody asked for your middle school education takes.
I don’t see the harm in having pronoun options that are not tied to body type. If pronouns would be selectable, more options besides he/him, she/her, and they/them would probably be needed, even custom pronouns (might have to have a profanity filter on that…'cause people are people). I know not everyone agrees with non-birth pronoun usage, but the interactions someone has with the game’s NPCs isn’t going to affect anyone but the person behind the character. And, if the pronouns are showed in character frames etc to other players, well, it’s not too hard to ignore if someone for any reason doesn’t like it.
I mean, TRP3 offers a bit of functionality here, but that’s different in that the add-on doesn’t tell the game’s NPC’s what pronouns to use for our characters.
For me, currently, what I select as my character’s body type is representative of the pronouns I prefer that character to go by. I could see myself selecting different pronouns maybe but also maybe not .
In real life, I go with the pronouns that are the same as what I had a birth, which doesn’t represent me perfectly though. I’m non-binary, but I stick to the pronouns that are comfortable and familiar to me publicly. Internally, I’ve always used plural first-person pronouns, but I don’t like others using they/them for me. So, I’m fine if selectable pronouns were added to the game, and I’m sure some players would like their characters to better represent themselves outside the game. But I also don’t know if I’d sure the feature much beyond setting my characters as they are now: I’d hate to saddle my characters with the same gender issues I already have out in the real world.
Humans are sexually dimorphic.
If only you knew how bad things really are.
I prefer Starfighter. Excuse me while I get into my Gunstar.
I think the drama has gotten overboard. And the insistance that I keep a running list of all current pronouns in my head…yeah, thats not happening.
I’ll ask your name. If you give it to me, i’ll use that. If you refuse to give me your name I can assume youre just trolling me and our interaction is concluded.
Not you, obviously, but anyone who wants to interact with me.
I dont have any problem with people calling themselves anything they want to.
Their parents gave them some arbitrary name, who am I to say they cant build upon that?
My issue is, I dont know your name UNTIL you tell me what it is…so to get dramatic about it seems a bit over the top if I dont know what it is.
We’ve managed to turn words here into literal ‘violence’ given ive seen some of the youtube videos where someone uses the wrong pronoun and the recipient goes on a violent rampage.
Totally unnecessary.
If someone does misgender them… just walk away. They arent worth being arrested over, which might be what theyre trying to cause.
If the gendered person is trying to get along with me, Im game. They havent done anything wrong to me, so no reason to do anything out of line myself.
Personally I will use legal names. That way they dont need to get upset and I dont have to worry about getting their pronouns wrong
