Are they even used at all in WoW?
Im as lefty as they come, but they dont seem to serve much purpose here - are there even any NPCs known by their pronouns? I think there is a very small number that are like… Granny this or Old Man that, but the vast majority of the time NPCs are just called by their names.

You’d be asked for your pronoun at some point and it would be inserted into dialogue.
would probably need something like a ‘plugin’ from ffxiv since blizzard doesn’t care
As someone who has never really had an issue with using/respecting requested pronouns or even remembering to ask about them, why does this need hard coded and not just supported by one of the many EXPANSIVE RP addons?
Sure all npcs can use “they” or other non gendered language, but I think most of it is already? “CHAMPION! have you had your frosted flakes this morning? FOR AZEROTH?”

It will never need to be hard coded. RP supports all of the self expression that people can ask for.

Dunno man. Their gender frame advantage is strong but you gotta take gender neutrals into consideration.

It’s only been a current thing and not a past thing. In casual conversation, it’s not brought up.
I’ve only ever had to answer it in a formal setting like a doctor’s office, for their forms and not actual conversation.
Typically, behind my back, when I’m not around to hear it. No one directly addresses me as “she/her”. The only pronoun they use directed at me is “you”.

getting upset about blizz enabling pronouns is as stupid as getting upset over the arachnaphobia filter. a toggle/feature in game that you don’t have to interact with if you don’t want to. oh no. that’s just horrible.

I was making a fighting game joke.
A neutral for fighting games is the state where neither you or the opponent is actively on the offense or defense.
I see folks that play Guilty Gear make this joke when a non binary character shows up like Testament. The joke being that enbys have an advantage

Download the addon TRP3. You can choose your preferred pronouns there. Npc do not use pronouns when referring to you.
