Probably time to roll back the class changes, Rets and ferals way too high on expected DPS

So paladins are the very best tanks with the most tank DPS in the game, have cheat death etc and more utility than any class

They have the best healers in the game with nearly zero loot competition, who don’t even need trinkets because a blue 187 trinket is the best in slot item for them in the game

And you want ret to use an armor pen 2h axe and be pretty much the best DPS in the game when 60 percent of your damage is holy.

This is actually the most selfish behavior I’ve seen regarding class balance in the game ever.

  1. Tank spec doesn’t matter when discussing DPS.
  2. Healing spec doesn’t matter when discussing DPS.
  3. Ret in full bis with a LEGENDARY is still not the best DPS in the game, even if Feral is nerfed.

Conclusion: You’re either ignorant enough you really should go read something, or purposely being untruthful. Either way, shut up.

Everyone’s argument as to why fury should be nurfed is the fact we are a hybrid class.

Two of our specs are garbage in icc

All 3 specs of paladin are the best at what they do period

Anybody who thinks Fury needs a nerf is:

A. Stupid.
B. Making the same mistakes I just outlined 3 points showing how little weight their reasoning carries.

This is flatly wrong. Ret is not the best DPS, in sims or in practice, even with a legendary. Without it? Drops off HARD.

I think Warrior threat has needed to be fixed since Naxx. Fury is fine. Arms… has always been in a weird place because it is TOO GOOD at pvp to be truly good at pve. At least warrior has a second DPS option. Pally doesn’t. We get 1 of each.

Feral is so powerful.
Feral doesn’t even allow us to complain how OP feral is.

That was not the reason feral got changed though.

Their buff was unintentional, they were trying to get rid of bearweaving and didn’t test it. Which was a mistake, and they admitted it, but it’s hard to put the CAT back in the bag lol.

Let’s be objective here for a sec:

Only TWO classes in Wrath only have a single DPS spec. Priest, and Pally. Every other class has at least two. Shadow Priest, without a legendary, currently sims a top end sim that is nearly equal to the “support” ret spec of DSAC WITH a legendary. The gap (rounded) is less than 100 points. Without it? Ret drops below Ele shaman, and the gap between them and their only truly comparable speccing situation is ~800, assuming the higher DPS AM spec. And this is WITH the reckoning buff. Without it? Ret drops another 1200+ points and tumbles down to dead last among raid specs, and equal to Arms.

To call Ret OP, or to demand nerfs for it, is absurd, and the kind of thing people only do because they feel it’s ok to be ***holes to Ret. If they wanted shadow hit by the same bat the forums would explode on them, and rightfully so.

As a Feral Combat main, I can safely say this is false and has always been. No one is stacking cats to optimize DPS. There’s a few other classes, big name classes with several options where this happens reliably, but legitimately this has never been and isn’t a thing with cat druids.

The DPS and utility a cat brings isn’t so large that its worth having a ton of them, you are better off with, surprise, surprise, a Retribution paladin or Unholy death knight at this level and kind of play (you shouldn’t be hard leaning on Innervate or even needing to cast Rebirth, for example.)

Either you’re a bit skewed on what you’re seeing - I barely saw any cats until late Ulduar early Trial throughout all of Classic - or you’re actually trolling.

report, good luck. haha.
Ban !

I gathered as much but its worth mentioning, the real strength for most people of having a Feral Cat in their raid is well, you get another Innervate and Rebirth. The damage is a nice bonus but unless your cat is way better than your typical death knight, paladin, or warrior swinging Shadowmourne (epitome of a skill issue here), the cat’s never going to be that much more worth bringing on specialization alone. It’s kind of mind-boggling.

Either way, I’m not even remotely worried about what the top 1% parsing people are going to bring to their comps, whether that be 19 death knights or 19 cats. Its going to be borked anyway.

Feral is sooooo powerful that it can tank in cat form have #1 threat and while tanking innervate and brez. Not only that they are so powerful that after the fight is done, they are #1 heals/threat/dps. I just don’t understand why they don’t stack them… We need a 25 man raid of all ferals.

Feral crying baby in coming.

You are the only one crying man…and it seems English isn’t your first language. I wish you good luck next phase.

My post is:
Buff rogue, buff fury, buff DK, buff enhance just like devs buff feral.
I never mention nerf feral.
But your feral insists that nerf DK.
Selfish feral…

Look what I need to mimic a fraction of their power

Their best talent is crying.

They are clearly not going to do that.

They made the adjustments with intention, and just shuffling the deck back to it’s original position by buffing everything else would be the same as reverting the changes.

You are just throwing a tantrum on every thread. It’s 100% a waste of time because they aren’t going to do what you want them to.
