Pretty bummed about BG implementation

Blizzard broke that in retail so it’s very likely it’ll be broken in classic as well.

That is how I understand it, they havn’t been super clear.

And its still the way everyone is going to do it tomorrow regardless. And additional check that the purposed raid can add is if their acceptance to enter occurs at the same time. If not more than a 3/4ths don’t see the queue pop they don’t accept.

If you are playing the same times every day chances are you are going to see the same people.

In B4 Cross ReALms

Dear god… don’t even say such blaspheme around here.

Mwhahahaha it all starts here >;) then we’ll get updated models SOME HEIRLOOMS TO SPEED up leveling oh baby I can’t wait for some Lfd and LFR!

I can’t say no to round the clock carnage in PvP instead of staring at enemy blobs waiting for someone to stray from the pack.

Yes, eventually we will progress through the expantions and get to experience the fall of the game all over again.

We will get pruning come WoD, rng on rng in legion, and then we get to play the xpac the devs love the most, the worst xpac since WoD, BFA, where pvp servers will no longer exists, almost every serious raid guild will be horde, and no one wants to play the game anymore.

Then they will launch a new progression server and we get to do it all over again.

The population on my server is so large that I rarely see the same players.

You are still going to want to make friends to queue with. Premade raids are allowed, and BGs are not time gated like they are in retail.

If we get battlegroups, then yes, your advice makes sense. If we don’t, the only way you’ll probably ever see your guildmates in the same BG is by forming a group and queueing as a group. Except maybe at non-peak, low pop in NA periods. No battlegroups = huge pool, more randoms.

That’s why I’m going to be sad if we don’t get battlegroups. Classic BGs will be just like retail.

Server rep. In vanilla BGs after the switch from single realms to battlegroups, players from certain servers had better reps than others.

Point blank. They should have addressed the honor system since they decided to not take the #nochanges route. BGs can wait.

WPvP is much more entertaining than playing LoL/DotA. If I wanted a MOBA, I’d go play one.

Crossrealm introduces new problems though.

People will be toxic and go afk a lot, there is no punishment since you won´t see anyone, ever again.
Queue dodging will be very famous among premades, they will just refuse playin another premade, server only you had to fight them, else no games!

Queue times can be huge, mine jumped in Vanilla from instant to 60 minutes and very often I ended up in games that were already over. It was the first time that I stopped with WOW, it was pointless.

Rank 14 will also become a joke, there is a reason why no Rank 14 after xrealm is respected nor honored. You become Rank 14 by just standing inside the cave of AV 24/7.

Ummm world pvp has been going on since launch. You haven’t taken the time to get out and see the ppl on your server already?

Don’t think it’s really going to make a difference where the enemies come from, the fighting is what’s important.

I pvp’d in the time before crossrealm and i tell you sometimes you would just sit in a q and have no idea when it would end. After crossrealm the max q was like 5 minutes maybe.

For a server liek ours (I see you’re DD as well) we would have very long queues because our population is so low.

Dude everyone win trades on retail and no one gets banned thats one of the probs with retail.

I agree, cross realm bgs are a bad idea.
