Warriors should’ve been nerfed HARD in classic vanilla, but now they are just plain bad in raids. Arms is just a debuff bot, Fury is a near meme spec and Prot is the worst tank out of the three especially later on. Rogues have it even worse being only useful for IEA but at least they do higher dps than Arms. Its rare more than one are taken into a 25 man though. I understand warriors and rogues needed to be knocked off their throne but don’t put them in the dumpster. Throw us a bone.

My guild has a decent dps warrior. I believe they are like hunters in classic. If played well they can still be decent.

This is for like 2 phases or so—later rogues and warriors get bumped up. You can still clear content with both of these classes so it’s irrelevant anyway.

Warriors are the best boss tanks until phase 5 or 6 and “rogues is bad” is a pirate server meme that’s been disproven.

Also if they “threw rogues a bone” and increased their damage—they would be absolutely broken in PvP. Same for Arms warriors, they already slap and continue to slap in PvP.

At least warlocks brought some utility to warrant bringing more than one per raid unlike rogues and dps warriors. Also they don’t shine in T6 but simply are a lot less behind warlocks and hunters. Glaive rogues are the only ones with a shot at topping the meters on a boss fight in a decent guild (the hunters and warlocks aren’t all trashcans) and only if its a melee friendly fight. You will still only want one rogue and one arms warrior, but many guilds will let their prot warrior play fury since fury isn’t too far off the meta and prot warrior is abysmal in SwP.

1.) take some notes
2.) if the boss dies, it literally doesn’t matter if he died 50 seconds faster
3.) play what you like playing and don’t make exceptions, but also don’t make excuses
4.) stuff changes. If everything was perfect balanced DPS-wise, the game would be boring and the game would be imbalanced somewhere else (utility buffs etc) being on top for an entire expansion and then not being on top the next is fine
Yea I am a hunter cuz I’ve played a hunter since day one. You don’t think there were times where is was super hard to get into groups? Or get 2200 in RBG? Or raid? Trust me, there were plenty of times. Sometimes you shine and sometimes you can still shine, but you have to execute perfectly and do more than other classes.
But do I roll orc? No. Do I use a ravager? No. Do I care about racials? No. Do I prefer cooler looking 1h weapons? Yes. Do I still parse high enough playing how I want to be in a competitive guild? Yes. Is it a rank 1 guild? No but we one shot everything and that is enough for me.

Yeah, I’m so over hearing all this. Pre-Nerf M’uru was killed with warrior tank, 1 warrior DPS, 2 Rogue DPS. Like…people need to shut up.

My guild is taking all classes for Heroics and Raiding for this very reason.
There are people who LOVE the class kit and class fantasy, but this BS just makes them have not a very fun time.

That fury warrior was CLEARLY fed all the buffs possible to inflate their dps. Fury isn’t that good unless you can get the perfect comp to let them do crazy numbers. Even then a hunter can do the same using equal effort without needing a very specific comp.

I refuse to Invite any rogues or dps warriors in my heroics, kara or 25m. I’d rather just have locks and hunters.
