Season 3 tier set I can send out 9 living flames in 5 seconds without any echos, not to mention living flame can cause echo…it’s my favorite play style so far

So we’re going to get Season 1 bonuses with nerfs because people are trolls or just dont understand that that bonus sucks now? Way to kick preservation down to meme tier healers. Season 2 would be the best choice in my opinion with how it felt and played, but here we are with S1 in the lead because stupid people are stupid. Thanks for making Season 4 a joke for us evokers.

IDK how anyone can read the patch notes and say we’re being nerfed
because if you think about it the spells your using to get reversion cast are still going to go up in cost and since essence burst can only happen on cast of reversion not the ticks you will spend a ton of mana and get 2 essence burst stacks at most from casting reversion…big woop…your going to go oom so fast and be a terrible healer in season 3 esp since they wont roll back the max of 6 crit extension to reversion it’s not a nerf but if your spending mana like crazy to set up a lot of reversions and dream breath hots on everyone then you will be seeing your mana go 10% faster now for very little gain as echo is a cheap spell to start with
TA, reversion, echo, and time dilation are all going to cost less mana due to the timeless magic change. This alone completely outweighs the 10% increase to dream breath, spiritbloom, blossom, and living flame. Add in reversion having a chance to grant essence burst, and our mana is even better.
Lets not pretend that 6+ extensions was ever happening on any sort of consistent basis.

For raiding, S2 and S3 are great, S1 is dogs**t
But most players are M+ addicts so S1 is gonna win unfortunately.

s1 is objectively the worst of the bunch. Everyone is looking through rose colored glasses because preservation was super overtuned in s1.

Why is S1 the top vote getter? It’s by far the worst of them. It gets very little throughput and buffs our spot heal by 20%.
S2 is a significant increase to our empower spell throughput and adds some control to generating essence burst via empower spells. Probably the best, though not as fun as S3.
S3s automatic Living Flames w/ empower spells is nice, especially with tossing out echoes via the 4pc. But, won’t put out as much healing as S2.

source? i couldnt find that info anywhere. the 2 set only changes the crit chance so did they completely change the 2 set
They completely changed the season 1 2 set going into season 2. These are the current season 1 set bonuses as listed in the adventure guide.

Yes but with the forced use of a reversion focused build it would be dumb not to pick it.

i have no idea what you’re on about, the reversion buffs were to make it worth pressing for emerald blossom and echo builds during downtime, the changes for an actual reversion focused build is NOT good. they capped the amount of extension ticks you get. its dead changes on arrival. Dont talk for us when you have no idea what you’re talking about, Season 1 tierset is by far the worst tierset. Season 3 already does more dmg then season 1.

actually 6+ crit extensions were happening, we literally were getting ready to stack 11k crit for 50 second reversions.

They have to buff this tier heavily for it to even compete with s3 dps. just a waste of a season.

I’m referring to right now, without the +25% bonus from tier, which doesn’t exist anymore.
Currently, even with 11,000 crit, you’d have around a ~59% chance to crit, which is in 40% penalty territory and still only reliably gets you ~8 extensions.
