What you speak of has nothing to do with waiting 20 minutes for a boss spawn that rarely drops anything useful. After 9 kills and no loot I am done with it.

Okay, so… I’ve had my moments like this. But you’re denouncing the idea as a whole when it could just be implemented in Warmode.
…Or should we cater to those who go into Warmode just for the quest bonuses and cry about their gameplay being violated?

I played in the original Scourge event a LOT. I loved the chaos. However, when I felt like working on an alt in Outland, even at the furthest reaches people would still interrupt your gameplay. It was tedious and unfun when you had to walk on eggshells just to do other things.
Double edged sword. Fun when I felt in the mood for it, unfun when I wanted to relax and farm stuff (open world) or work on alts, I hated it.

I did test it, I’ve done Shadowlands testing and I also tested the invasion part which comes next week. It was terrible and just made everyone avoid landing because it was a drag.
I’m just pointing out how every thread you make it about an issue you haven’t ran into but you’ve heard about it.

See if you could do something like this, i’d be all for it. But the thing is, with my experiences with war mode, just…it’s not fun. It wasn’t fun getting ganked pre war mode, and it’s not fun afterwards. I kept it on for a while just hiding from horde, but I had to turn it off after a bit. I can’t 1v3 with a hunter. ;|
Listen, if you can balance an event like this to the point where it’s not just a bunch of A-holes ruining it for everyone else, as many of us are wont to do, then go for it. Otherwise, I’m for playing it safe.
Still want more content tho.

I had fun killing Nathan, oh boy that was Cathartic. besides that, I’ve been enjoying bringing my alts up to speed. Most of them are terribly undergeared, so having the rare kill squads has helped a lot to make sure they’re ready for SL.

After announcing they were going to repeat an event that was such a fail the first time they had to apologize and promise they’d never do it again, they probably got a call from the accounting department suggesting why it was a bad idea.
They don’t listen to forum feedback and obey, including yours. However, they probably noticed people saying they were going to unsub until shadowlands and skip the entire prepatch if it was accompanied by a wave of unsubs.

I also disagree with the scourge event being WM only. But that comes from someone who prefers to not only be inconvenienced but doing the inconveniencing as well. This perspective comes from my enjoyment in PvP and RP.
Khaelyn also brags about how she doesn’t really play WoW or do any content with achievements and talks about how FFXIV is the better game and she spends all her time playing that.
Thank god she has hidden her forum activity so it’s hard to point out her absolute baseless grounds for all the threads she’s made and what a hypocrite she is.

This is the saddest excuse of a pre event, and if this is what listening to player feedback gets you. They listening to the wrong people.

Timbaeslice I don’t raid in this game. You made fun of my feedback because I am a casual. You have this silly mindset that your feedback matters more because you raid or whatever.
If a casual like “me” is saying this event is boring, and able to grief others for a limit time is ok. What does that say about you?

Yeah, I kinda agree with Khaelyn on this one.
First Scourge event was fantastic. Capital cities were not safe, and there was plenty to kill and be killed by.
Second one, meh.
This one…from what I am hearing it’s lame. Blizzard should have made this scourge event even more dangerous than the first (nothing controlling the scourge) or went with something else like pulling the damned sword out of Silithus and horde/alliance scuffling over the fallout/treasure from it.
But Shadowlands has to be good! Right?..
