Prepatch is proof that you listen to wrong feedback

Wrong if they listened to the feed back the event would be going on 24/7 this week with tuns of zombies all over - IN WAR MODE -

It was the pvp players salivating at the mouth at killing ppl that don’t want to pvp that got it like we see now

Send Activision a message that we are unhappy about this crap of a prepatch. Pretty sad showing of a prepatch event compared to all of the previous prepatch events. We all know why that is happening; Mr. Morhaime is poaching all the good writers and devs! Activision is gutting out our favorite game to make a buck and doesn’t care what we think. Don’t know about you all but I have already got my refund of Activisions Game “Shadowlands”. Usually the prepatch event will gauge how the expansion is going to go. My prediction is Classic TBC is the only thing that will keep Wow Subs coming. As for me I can’t wait until Dreamhaven releases the real wow killer and I will jump on board with a gaming studio that knows how to make a game the subscribers like and want to keep playing because it is fun and not a job like this retail crap.

They can’t write crap anymore. Dreamhaven poached all the good ones. This is Activision’s WoW now. All the people left working for them are people straight out of school looking for a job in the “covid pandemic”. In other words they are Green! They don’t know anything other than what Activision tells them. A real sugar honey iced tea show!

Conversely, maybe they didn’t listen to people that dealt with the ridiculous tbc and wrath events. I did, and not only did it make the game basically unplayable for me, but literally millions of other players who all voiced their displeasure. Hence it was canceled after a few days rather than the two weeks it was supposed to run for.
I also distinctly remember Blizzard saying they would never do it again because it was too much of a nightmare. Looks like they kept their word on that one too…

If it were an event that lasted any longer than two weeks, I could understand where you’re coming from. But this is an event I – and many others – were looking forward to, from a gameplay perspective, from an RP perspective, from a challenge perspective. I never got to do the Wrath event, but I’d look at the chaos recorded on Youtube videos, and just wish I could have been there. I read stories of how a group of paladins made a stand at Light’s Hope Chapel and it made me want to roll a pally. I looked at the overrun streets of Orgrimmar and thought, “Wouldn’t it be amazing to get a group together to take back our city?”

And now, even with the event returning, I’ll still never get to know what that’s like because people couldn’t stand the idea of chaos in an event that’s supposed to represent a chaotic time. For two weeks. It’s not like there aren’t other games, but now there may as well never, ever be another Scourge invasion. The integrity of one of WoW’s most memorable events is more important than people’s desire not to be inconvenienced for a short time during a time in which most content is old or shallow.

In short, it was only going to be for two weeks. Then it would have been gone, forever, in all likelihood. You couldn’t let people have that for just two weeks?

Tell them again! The problem with this game other than Activision is and I am sad to say is the player base. Majority of WoW players are selfish, entitled, spergs who want it their way and not think about the bigger picture of the story. As for the pvpers, well there is always evil people in the world that will do dastardly things for their sick sense of pleasure. The game is for them too. Most people forget that it is supposed to be a WORLD ENDING EVENT! If you don’t like it do something about it or don’t play. Your choice people. So please for the love of god quit complaining. Everyone will not have the game just as they want it. Just like in the real world. I know I know, but it is a fantasy game. But it is a fantasy game played by people who live in the real world and carry a lot of the same social morales from real life to said fantasy game. Remember that people.

That is not how it works.

I found it fun. You finding it not fun doesn’t mean you speak for me. Go play Minecraft if you can’t handle a little antagonism or challenge in a video game especially from other players. Take your fake disingenuous attitude with you.

Really hoping we get more ghoul spawns or an easier way to turn into ghouls. Having to fly around Stormwind hunting down an elusive mob is a little silly for a pre-patch.

I just logged in to see all the zombies but it was a… ghost town… I guess they were all… dead. badum tssssss :joy:

It exactly is. I couldn’t do it on Alliance, turned off wm, no more horde.

how is effectively shutting the rest of the game own for 2 weeks a fun event?

Yeah, WC3:Refunded killed any hope I had with a WC1 and WC2 reforge. It also did so while stealing my actual WC3 cd-key I assigned to this account. Deleting it from the cd-key page as if it never existed. Then doesn’t even allow me to install the 20 year old game, but instead directs me to pay for a garbage reskin of the same game but only buggier and lacking more features.

God it’d have been so amazing to have a proper reforge. Then put WC1 and WC2 in that same engine. Just leave the original game alone. Leave it be. There was no reason to destroy the old game. Especially if you just made a proper reforging so they were two different experiences. Each worth having installed at once.

Why do you still play if you don’t enjoy the game? It seems to me you’re just paying $15 a month to post on the forums about how the game is boring and you don’t like it.

I’m not here to tell you how to spend your money, but don’t you think there is a better way to spend that $15?

It’s a rerun of the Wrath pre-patch (which sucked just as hard) only with forced PvP flagging.

all i’m getting from this is that you can’t have fun without griefing others?

i’m not sure that’s something you should want to admit.

Well you got it for 1 week. Everyone dumb enough to be in SW under level 50, is flagged without choice anywhere from SW all the way to Darkshire, Duskwood. So go gank, grief and have fun.
P.S. Other than the being flagged thing, you CAN still RP with friends on the event like you’re saving the world.

Fun is a matter of opinion, and just that. I played the WotLK prepatch and LOVED IT! I didn’t complain about the zombie zergs in the Faction cities, I did something about it. This is the problem with you people, spoiled little brats that complain and throw temper tantrums like toddlers when you don’t get your way. Pathetic I must say. But here is to me getting a GREAT laugh at all of your immaturity levels. Have fun with your future complaints children. lmao

Yep

Hmmmmm

All they had to do was make it WM only, like they said they were going to. The you could have still had your fun for 2 weeks, while I could still have mine. But no, you just have to be a d-bag taking joy at the expense of others. :hear_no_evil::speak_no_evil::see_no_evil:
