Prepatch is proof that you listen to wrong feedback

the event wasn’t cancelled, we can still do it.

If you opt out of warmode then you’ve only yourself to blame for missing it.

This event should be canceled at how bad it is.

Your war mode answer is not the right one, and is not what made this event fun in the first place. Players able to opt out of a invasion is the most laughable game design yet.

sorry you feel that way, I’ll let you know how it went while you opt out.

Don’t like it then don’t play. I for one am happy they gave me an opt out. I didn’t enjoy the event in wrath and I wouldn’t have enjoyed this one. And until you start paying my sub then you cannot tell me how I should play just to suit you.

Prepatch is proof they don’t listen to any feedback.

I’m not surprised, but I fault Blizzard for their lack of action to address the issue.

I think it’s important to note that ‘fun’ is objectively a subjective term.

Honestly they could of had it both ways. Event would start ramping up, to mass chaos. After 30 minutes @ peak time, the argent dawn cleanses every zombie. Event could be every 4-6 hours.

So are we supposed to have zombies this week? Otherwise, boring patch is boring.

I’ve seen a total of 2 zombies in a capital, both spaced out.

I do have to say, I think the zombie invasion being limited to warmode is a bit lame. I understand that they didn’t want to inconvenience players that didn’t enjoy that content, but honestly this is a situation where people should be inconvenienced.

The scourge is invading, not politely asking players if they wouldn’t mind a little nibble. This event should be chaotic and set the stage narratively for how big of a deal the scourge invading is and help by making the world feel more connected to the events going on inside of it.

To help alleviate some of the inconvenience that the event caused last time, you could create safe zones within the city, where players could stay and conduct some of their business normally. You still get the feeling that part of the world is going to crap that should come with these prepatch events, but players that don’t want to partake can choose to stay in their safe areas.

As it stands now, we’ve come to a pretty poor compromise after a content drought of about 10 months, and missed a good opportunity to shake up excitement for the coming expansion.

Excuse me sir I did not consent to getting ganked

The only ones I saw was in Darkshire where you have the quest to kill them or up in Icecrown.

It always make me shake my head that player’s routines can never, ever be broken up for one or maybe two weeks by something different anymore.

Blizzard’s pre-patch events used to be inventive with TBC’s massive Legion bosses invading cities with new unique abilities, Wrath’s attempt at making us feel what an actual invasion of Scourge would feel like (basically, making us want revenge on the Lich King), even Cataclysm’s elemental invasions and Deathwing coming along and torching entire zones killing every player in the zone was something else to behold.

Since then? With the exception of Legion’s unique invasions, we’ve been left without that exclusive, unique one-time event in favor of mundane quest chains and world bosses way out in the far countryside making any sort of threat feel insanely hollow. All to protect auction house mules and access to flight point masters.

but the event is there. We’ll be doing it

You’re inventing problems that don’t exist

Yup, Blizzard are cowards to be honest. Like, I really think they listen to the worse feedback from players that make the job they do easier, this event is lazy at best.

It seems they forget the best place to park your AH mule is in Shattrath anyway.

Garrison, if you don’t have the Brutasaur. what most people did anyway before that, and now since you have a choice to do these zones first, you can make it easier.

Well if you’re a cheapskate like me and never paid for all the components in the garrison and definitely would never shell out for the Brutasaur… Shattrath is the best place to park an AH mule.

I used to be like this, then i thought, i’m never ever gonna need THIS much gold ever in my life (15m) so I went on a spending spree and bought my pet collection back along with much more. I am now down t0 4.8…And i think i might have went overboard. jumps into 1300 pet pile
