Prepatch is proof that you listen to wrong feedback

But no original answer, neato!

Why do you keep ignoring the fact that there is no pre-patch activity to do?

You didn’t opt out — it doesn’t exist.
We can’t opt-in — it doesn’t exist.

The fact that what was released is a complete change to what was announced, and it was changed to accommodate the “don’t bother me, im chatting in the city” crowd, is ridiculous.

If Blizzard could revamp and turn off the key components of the planned invasion event, they sure as hell could have put portals to TB/IF up.

The complaints about this event, aren’t just “i wanna grief” hur dur non-sense.

Indeed it is. You’re welcome

A 5 expansion old threat , what did you expect ? It’s already a miracle the scourge somehow managed to lvl up to 50…

The “squish” played a good part in that. I imagine they are celebrating their success!

Thank the god damn lord this man knows the truth!

I think this is a poor analysis and personally have the opinion that they should’ve never introduced WM. To me it’s a bandaid instead of an actual fix for a problem that has been going on since the games inception which is server imbalance.

On my server our realm thrived on both RP and WPvP. Part of having two sides that were constantly fighting each other meant that we begun to recognize not only names but guilds as well. This instigated rivalries to occur. Which led to some of the best WPvP I’ve ever experienced in the game during MoP. And part of the struggle was the idea that there was essentially no outs. If someone wanted you dead, you should head to a main city and blueflag. Otherwise, you’re getting killed. Even in the Shrine.

It’s clear that warmode was not created for the best interest of PvP players. Because if they did, they would’ve done something completely different instead of give an increase to PvE rewards which entices the wrong crowd to participate.

Pretty sure the Jailer is like facepalming with how the rares he keeps rezzing die almost instantly and begs him not to revive them again in 6h40mins instead of celebrating his success :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t disagree, I don’t think there was ever a need to reward one playstyle over another. If Blizzard got their crap together on faction imbalance as well we may have more pvp-ers but those that ganked day in and day out running from any fair fights? They did damage too.

All of the above was more then enough enticement to just turn it off for people that had enough of the experiment. If it was hella fun (win or lose) then it would be more populated without any reward

snowflake cucks gonna be cucking

Well you can’t opt others in.

I see no issue. You won’t see those players anyways

Maybe if you hold your breath long enough entitled players will respect your entitlement.

There’s no such thing as a fair fight in PvP that’s universal to everyone. We could baseline it down to 1v1s but during MoP Chimera Shot shredded Mages. We could baseline it down to 3v3s but there have always been comps that stand out above others. Could break it down to RBGs but again the whole comp thing.

The idea that there was ever a fair fight is something I don’t believe in. And I certainly don’t fault the players when they see that there’s a faction imbalance and still do their thing. Emerald Dream was unique because the players were so engaged in having a 50/50 server that they spent tons of money on faction transfers not only for themselves but their whole guilds. I put more of a fault on Blizzard. Who saw server activity decline for one faction and decided to do little to nothing about it.

If they actually cared about PvP they could have Planetside 2’d the entire map. Make it about taking over territories and earning Honor/Conquest or have another currency that rewards transmog, mounts, tabards, toys ect. ect. But instead they went with a PvE mode that allows players to kill each other. But I’m getting off track here.

Turn on war mode next week. Problem solved.

It is a YOU problem because you are the one pitching a fit because there is nothing you can do to force players into the mode you want them to be in.

Yup, but when it tilts too much to one side and it’s sink or get out of the pool, we can’t be surprised that some got out

I’m not pitching a fit. Calling Blizzard out for bad game play design, and listening to the players that made this game bad is all I am doing. This mess of a pre launch event is proof enough that I am right.

I’m not upset, just disappointed in this development team.

I was around for the first event, it was fun.

You could talk to Horde as Alliance and vise versa as a ghoul, we’d gather up more ghouls and go infect more people and have a blast.

Paladins and any aoe class could take out ghouls easy. A few of our fun ghoul raids got derailed by paladins.

There’s plenty of places to go, not sure how WoW has come to basically a solo game where you opt out of everything to be in your own bubble.

can you not still have this kinda happen with warmode on?

I’m still not getting why that’s a problem. Is it less unwilling participants? Why would that concern anyone?
