Prepatch is proof that you listen to wrong feedback

Haven’t we been through this?

Turn Warmode on, you’ll only see players like you

What does players you can’t see have anything to do with your fun? Is knowing you can’t get at them that frustrating to you? Just RP they were out of town when the event happened or something and attack Goldshore on your Moonguard server.

It’s totally possible for you to have fun with this event. Power is in your hands.

And that’s what exactly what they want. They wanted to opt out to not impede on other people’s fun by going into the normal game. That is met with anger.

Games are about fun and they want to choose how they have fun in an MMO. MMO is about choices on how to play them after all. And if they are either forced to do something they dislike or have to log out, do you not think that will send up red-flags to blizzard, leading them to think that maybe this event is bad?

We can blame the community “complaining” about things, but what is the real exact reason why Blizzard has to change this event? I’l give you a hint; “deal with it or…”

Well the opt out is possible

Like it or not.

Lmao

I’ll enjoy my loot and moving on with my day, and you can continue fighting mobs that are destroying you. But hey, it’s about that elite status right? Best of luck.

You’re a bit off, there. War-mode is opt-in, so you need consent to play in an un-safe space. “Safe space” is default, until you turn war-mode on.

Maybe for you. This might be new for you, but different people like different things. What you find dull, someone else might find fun. Shocking, I know.

Maybe too shocking for them, shocking to a point where they don’t actually believe it. Explains why whenever this topic shows up and i said “fun is subjective”, hardly anybody ever seem to comment on it or even acknowledged i said that, even though i said it over and over…

I Hate Everything’s voice Over and over. Over and Over. Over and Over. Over and Over.

I had IHE’s and Dose of buckley’s april fool’s day vids on the brain, hush.

So you’re already complaining about something before it’s been released?

Do you sit there and hound McDonald’s employees while they are making your burger?

I should have

I ordered two bacon and eggs muffins and got a single sausage one instead. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Congratulations, that is an accomplishment of sorts, I only leveled one toon that way, and several in warmode later on. Warmode, while an interesting concept is an awful alternative to PvP servers. It has ruined that apart of the game enitrely.

Perhaps I am wrong, but it sounds as if you are defending the rights of those individuals that do not ant to participate in a game challenge. In by doing so, impact the fun of a large portion that would like to participate. It is just as easy to not log in for those that do not want to join this event, as for those that find it disappointing. Know what though, I’d bet, those complainers, would still log in. Know what else, they would have found the event memorable. Know what is memorable now? Nothing. This is boring and unchallenging.

Again, if you are defending the snowflakes whose sole purpose is making the game increasingly banal, I will blame you. There would be alternative ways Blizzard could have approached it though, instead they gave us a virgin daquiri. Bleck!

What a dork you are, I mean that in the most literal sense. Mobs that are destroying me? LOL

No, I don’t defend snowflakes which is why I oppose players that don’t want others to have a choice how they play so everyone exists for their own entertainment.

I don’t like it, and that is why I’m calling out Blizzard for it, The price we pay for said opt out is a dull event that most players seem to not enjoy. When you cater to players who want a safe space all the time. We end up taking no risk in game design, and this invasion is proof of that.

Your player “choice” and not wanting to be incovienienced at all has a price that I’m tired of paying for in this game. The only saving grace to all these failures is that my husband is also getting fed up with it.

Yes well, by catering to that weakens the community even further. Kind of like garrisons, allowing players to isolate because they do not want to participate. I agree with the OP, my piece is said.

Why is it dull?

If it’s fun then you’ll have tons of players participating

I’ve been saying this for years. Blizzard has listened to the wrong players almost from the get-go. They cater to the entitled crybabies. People confuse these players with casuals, and they’re two very different things.

Isn’t it set up so you can experience it in war mode?
and if so, is anyone participating?

If you’re standing around cities in a video game with nothing better to do, your life is miserable to start with.

Opinions are cool, and also subjective.

Well, why when the choice was available that so many opted out of PVP? If I had to guess it’s because of the gankers in this thread that made it a lame experience and turned them off pvp forever.

Sow it? Reap it.

I still enjoy pvp but I understand those that do not. I intend to get back into the pvp side way more often like I used to assuming SL is fun for me
