Prepatch is proof that you listen to wrong feedback

I would go do my rp elsewhere. It was that simple.

Yeah, you’re only complaining because you don’t care. Mmhmm.

Too bad blizz couldn’t just keep the event in wm. But instead they had to ruin it.

Imagine being so fragile as to come onto this forum and complain that people don’t want to play with you.

Or having so little imagination as to assume that your way to play is the only one.

Or conflating wanting to play the game their way as “ruining your fun” Or acting like your fun is being ruined because you can’t force your game onto others. I mean, really

I am complaining? The whole thread started because someone is mad Blizzard gave us choices.
I just went wm off and completely ignored that the event is even going on, i’ve not even once asked Blizzard to change anything, its you guys whining over the fact that you can’t force people into your content lol

in the end it was tuned down to a point of meaninglessness regardless of mode. You would think you moon guardians (at a minimum) would be like “ooooh…an engaging event with actual consequences” but no…

Nope. Give me my brain dead dailys so I can grind a currency so I can buy a transmog and throw a timed loot pinata from a no challenge “boss” on a set rotation because that’s about the level of engagement I can handle.

Actually, it’s people who were excited for a limited time event being upset because a handful of whiners caused blizzard to completely ruin the limited time event they were excited for. There was a simple fix, but blizzard decided to take it out back and put it down for good.

“Waaaaahhh they didnt cater to the certain people that agree with me, and I’m going to make it sound like everyone hates it.”

I don’t know why someone subscribing to an MMO would want things to be the same all the time, and then switch to saying they’re just trying to play the game.

It reminds me of the friendly heavies in team fortress 2. People switch to unarmed, crouch, move into the crossfire, get killed, and then complain in chat.

Isn’t that what you’re doing though? Making it about you?

See, I said that its one sided here. They could’ve of done this better, but they didn’t, and this is the boring results. And the best you doing here is “mimicking” because you know you ruined it all.

It’s like we have 2 opposing factions fighting for 2 opposing factions, it’s nuts I tell you.

Blizzard is a stubborn company that rarely hears complaints, if they changed it you can be sure that it was way more than a “handful or whiners” otherwise they’d just ignore it like they do with most feedback.

I’m just happy that they’re listening? :woman_shrugging:

I dunno. I don’t think it’ll bug me all that much not to be murdered by ghouls next week.

I know this is silly analogy, but… if some people don’t want to trick or treat, then that’s fine. Plus the spirit of Halloween (or holidays in general) isn’t just stuffing your mouth full of candy or on certain days, savory food and alcoholic beverages. It’s about getting together with people and celebrating the… whatever history is associating with that holiday, and people have different interpretations of the holiday. That doesn’t mean their not celebrating the holiday.

I mean if somebody didn’t put the tree up for Christmas, does that mean their not celebrating Christmas? No. Their still celebrating it, but maybe they have something else in mind… or they just don’t have the money. Or maybe do don’t want to celebrate it, but that’s not everybody who didn’t put up the tree.

Especially considering some people are in places where they can’t do it, whether it be in war, homelessness, in an area where the town’s popular religious belief, and so on. I could go on, but this would take a silly analogy and turn it into a critique of the terrible economy were in.

Reeling back to the event here, if somebody doesn’t want to participate in the event and back into the normal gameplay, then that’s fine.

I don’t know why people buy the same soccer games or fps games over and over every year or why people play the same mobas over and over or even just go arenas and battlegrounds and nothing else in wow, but you know what? I respect them because I know different people have different tastes and enjoy different things.
Just because people do things differently from you it doesn’t mean they’re wrong, each is free to play it like they want to.
Again, this whole thread is about people mad because they can’t accept that and want people forced into their notion of fun.

I’m pretty sure it was a mere handful of whiners.

What do you mean? I participated the first time, and plan on doing it again this time. Nothing is being made about me, I’m just not going to come on here and simultaneously call others snowflake while moaning about things that aren’t going to change at this juncture.

I cannot sympathize with people who have intent to willingly take part in something recreational they do not like and try to change it. It’s not a neutral or defensive move.

There’s nothing to “participate” in. The cities spawn like 2 or 3 zombie’s at a time and they die in like 5 seconds to anyone who looks in there direction. Blizzard basically borderline deleted the event.

And no one is being called a special snowflake, I just said that the people who didn’t like the event ruined it for everyone else. “Party Poopers”.

I didn’t play the Witcher Wild Hunt back when it was released… Just finished that up and quite honestly that is an amazing game… except for Roach… that horse is brain dead… lol… Think I’m going to play Civ5 next.

So even though ive turned warmode on, trying to opt into the event. It is not going to get any more crazy then what it currently is? That’s sad, kind of wanted to spice things up.

Genuinely curious, because i go to “guides” for the pre-patch event and see lots of fun images for the zombie event. And some people in game were telling me it gets crazier next week.

Totally get why some people don’t want to participate, but I was hoping for something really memorable that would show me the world ending damage of the cinematic of sylvanas breaking the helm of domination.

They should of made the zombie event a timer thing. Maybe once every 2 hours for 30 minutes, the scourge invades major cities. And at the end, the argent Crusade Priests casts a powerful holy spell that purges all the undead from the cities.

30 minutes every 2 hours for a chaotic free for all would of been nice.
