Prepatch is proof that you listen to wrong feedback

Too true OP

The game has gone down hill now that they’ve tried to manufacture the game to the lowest common denominators

There is a balance you have to hit with curbing bad behaviour but just wiping any chance for it to happen off the face of the earth normally never benefits anyone

Like you just said… “Sure people was upset, but who cares someone always is.”

This time you’re in the group that is upset! And if we take your advice, then we shouldn’t care if you’re upset because ‘someone always is’. Your turn.

It do not think it is going to matter whether you are right or wrong here, Blizzard is going to pull a Trump and deny reality. They continue doing what they are doing, blame everyone and anything other than their own poor decisions. It is not just this event that is really lame, there are a lot of other things that have wrecked the challenge and fun that was in this game.

I liked the idea of the level squish, but there is hardly much challenge to leveling a toon now. I used to hate being flagged in PvP, but it meant something and was apart of the game. Someone who leveled on a PvP sever earned that. There used to be a balance between faction lore, several characters with their own stories with different attitudes. Players could choose who they liked most, but not anymore, now you are part of the good side, period.

Blizzard is killing their own game slowly, methodically, with very deliberate intent.

You’re the one crying, I’ll be heading to warmode and playing with people that want to play as well.

Choice is good. Don’t be a snowflake if you claim not to like snowflakes,

Was in warmode, all 5 of us. Trollgore ate us up. Better stay on the carebear side, so sad this is what it has come down to.

But didn’t players have a choice of not being in the cities?

grow up.

It’s not about being offended. It’s about not wanting some other player dictating the flow of your game time. Just turn warmode on, stop being so offended and triggered and don’t be scared you may have to face people that can fight back.

Just think of warmode as your safe space. That helps, right?

But you can do the event. It’s there. By you’re own words having an opt out id a good thing or you yourself are a hypocrite. (you wish to ruin others fun)

Turn the warmode on, have fun with the rest of us

the game would be better of without the people that would have gotten angry over “griefing” from it.

it’d be nice if they could be made to leave.

I mean if I’m playing the devil’s advocate here isn’t that part of the joy in an MMORPG sometimes?

You have the “evil” people who want to create chaos and then you have the people who will seek them out and take care of them. Looking back at the vanilla and you can see how some 60s would go on gankfests and people would team up to end them.

Or during the ZG pandemic people were out there creating chaos by spreading it while other players spent time trying to set up dispel stations.

I guess the OP never heard of “what comes around, goes around.”. :man_shrugging:

The entire point of warmode was so they could have special PvP content. If they nerfed the ghouls it was because even PvPers didn’t want them so strong.

If you wanted to go somewhere specific, unless your a mage or it’s via by portal or boat or zep outside the SW/Org, you have to go though Stormwind/Org most of the time, the place where mind you, where the ghouls are taking place. And that’s with flying. With low level players or non flyers, i can’t imagine how that would be for them. Heck, Org’s portal room is wide open for any ghoul to sneak in there, while SW’s is just a portal via interior underneath the map.

Not really something i call a choice especially if you need Stormwind/Orgrimmar from traveling one city to the next if you will. Or something that isn’t available in other cities.

I mean isn’t this crazy reading those comments?

“I can’t have fun unless I get to ruin other’s fun, so good job at ruining my fun since I can’t ruin yours”.

The fact that they are upset that they have to play with others who want to do this and not with the ones who doesn’t is mind boggling sad.

im not talking about warmode, im talking about the nerf’ed event

my wm is always on

ok

thats the point i was talking.

you want to make it worse by having zombies kill you/chase you every where.

They would have made the rares timers like the 1s in Darkshore and Arathi people would be doing them on alts. but we have this 20min wait time for no reason.

I can imagine low level players having fun with the event. Turn into a ghoul and attack people? I’d be on board personally. As for the portal situation I can’t think about any portal that’s an absolute necessity at this time that you couldn’t get to by other means than going to the main city.

Sounds challenging, like a game. A real sense that you have survived something. Laughed when you get tagged, because you know how to take a hit, and come back for more. Then it is over, back to the boring solo playing game with random people occasionally coming into view that you will nearly never meet again.

All I want to do is have fun and kill people as a zombie.

But for those who got stuff to do and don’t want to, their gonna be in a rough time.

Though to be fair, that is just warmode in general.

Farming old content, finishing up quests, getting to raids/dungeons if you don’t have a warlock or nobody outside to summon you, world pvp, getting to areas where you can level that is in another expansion.

I don’t really know if you’ve noticed but Blizzard removed a bunch of portals from all over the cities and such and put them all in portal rooms in SW/ORG awhile ago. Meaning that SW/Org is pretty much the central hub to get to and fro other cities and such. Rarely theirs a portal or transport outside of the central city now.

Well they don’t see the giant holes in their argument (ruining their fun, snowfalkes that want the game their way, etc)

If the event was cancelled they would have a complaint. But it’s opt in and that’s a win
