PVP is easily this game’s worst format. WPVP is the worst of the worst. How can we make it even worser? Make it lopsided too.
Game is better without PVP scenarios where the only time players PVP is when they have as much advantage as possible. It’s an incredibly boring format.

I couldn’t care less about the griefing but this event has no teeth, no stakes, no nothing. It’s very, very tame.

And yes I know since I’ll probably be told a million times, everyone plays differently. Weird how its always one sided. Most of us want to have fun, but because some people don’t, none of us get to have fun. But it’s somehow never the party poopers fault…

Prepatch event was nerfed on PTR because of QQing about griefing.

in the end we all know it’s not about the event or anything, these are just griefers pissed that for once Blizzard decided to give other players tools to not be griefed by them.
they know they can go wm on and enjoy the event, but we know that is not what they want, they want to ruin the day for someone who doesn’t want to participate, this is what it is all about.
if it was about the event they’d just go wm and enjoy it, like most are doing.

How is being able to opt out one-sided? If there are so many people who want to play your way, you should be able to turn on warmode and pvp to your heart’s content. If there arent, coming on here and whinging about people not lining up to get griefed isnt going to garner much sympathy.

What part of trick or treat do you not understand? It’s ‘extortion’ and always has been, you either give treats and appease the ‘spirits’ (masked children) or you don’t and you get tricked by the ‘spirits’. I think you’re being a little much saying

Again how does you having to turn on warmode made this event less fun for you? If the answer is because you cannot attack people who don’t want to participate then I think it is fairly clear who is in the wrong.

I agree with this. Unless there are mass waves of zombies next week this was a TOTAL bust as far as setup. Think about legion, you spent weeks repelling the demon invasions, you could PL some alts with it, and get a unique armor set by armor type.
With Legion I thought I was doing something related to the story.
I honestly have no clue why I am killing old Wrath bosses. I would have expected something related to the current story arch not recycled wrath mobs.
The most exciting part of the event is getting a 34 slot bag.

The whole point is that just by logging into the game, you become a willing participant.
I mean, imagine being so fragile that you actually get offended at a short, one-time event. Or have such little imagination that engaging in an immersive RP experience is too much to ask. Or being so selfish, that you can’t just laugh it off and have to ruin everyone else’s fun.

I paid for it as much as you did, why should I be the one to not play the game so you can have your fun? would you log out because i think your presence near me while i roleplay is disrupting my experience? i doubt it.
That is the issue you guys are failing to see, we don’t care about if you play or not, we don’t even want the event to be canceled or anything, we literally don’t care, that is why we have wm off. Meanwhile you’re the ones saying we should have to be forced into being griefed or camped because that’s your notion of fun.
Out of the two sides only one is demanding that others players be forced into what they don’t want to and that’s not my side.

Also the whole event was nerfed because of the “Waaaah griefing”. They could of used WM for the event and had it phase to the invasion when its on. But nope, they went out of there way to cater to certain people and ruined the whole thing for everyone.
