Nah they did it right. I didn’t wanna fight zombies 24/7 trying to get out of the portal room(actually happened on PTR, it was near impossible to get out pre-nerf).

You are correct that there are many reasons people play games, for fun, to experience something, for competition, min-max, mod, etc etc. I just think the term “passing time” is a catch all phrase here i feel because that’s usually the end result of these things, it passes the time.
I have no idea why, based on that statement, you think I am taking this personally. I am trying to determine exactly what they are missing in that scenerio if they can turn on warmode and get exactly what they want.
See this is the notion that I’m talking about where players want to pigeonhole themselves in their own corner and then make assumptions about those around him. I don’t view you negatively because you don’t want to attempt the “party”.
I view your opinion negatively because I believe it plays against the idea of a living, breathing and forever changing world. And instead of the game holding players hands and telling them that it’s going to be okay, you learn, grow and rise to the challenges set before you while making friends along the way.

You have the right to not log in if you don’t want people in an mmo getting in the way of your conversations. The point of an mmo is its a world with other people in it. Not your personal discord server.

Yeah I knew I should have been more specific after I posted that. If you are playing a game just to pass time that heavily implies you aren’t having fun and just doing it to have something to do.

No that’s your notion of an MMO. An MMO is a game with lots of people online and that’s all. If I want to go out and raid I’ll do it if I want to sit on my butt all day chatting to my friends I can also do it.
What wow IS however is an RPG and guess what is a very core and important part of any RPG? The roleplaying. So are you telling me that I can’t stay in Org roleplaying on a roleplay server on a roleplaying game because that doesn’t suit your notion of MMO?

What was even worse on the PTR for a while was being auto flagged as soon as you got into Org and I’m guessing Stormwind.

I mean picture how moonguard goldshire would look with the invasion. Just the madness alone that would cause. I mean it would be chaos and would make it seem like…i don’t know a invasion.
I’m sorry a invasion might slow you down getting to your dailies. We can’t have that can we.

Oh it was bad I tried doing a couple of new toons in Exiles reach and as soon as you get back to SW and Org people would just smack you .
It is nice they fixed it for people doing new toons.
Now on this toon I had no problem with it but I can understand not everyone wanting to do it .
