Prepatch is proof that you listen to wrong feedback

So you only have fun when you get something done when you log on? So a mmo is like a mobile game to you? Log on do your check list, log off. Yay i made progression for the day?

Not being part of the world, community, talking with people and doing crazy things in a event. Even if you don’t make any progression at all. If you don’t progress at all. Is it a waste of time? Ok how about this, being a victim is "not " fun. Fine, but you can not go to hot spots and adjust around it.

Having a limited time to play is just an excuse in my eyes. If I had such limited time. I would not be playing mmos, but truth be told. Wow has became more like a mobile game than a mmo. So it makes sense players like you are around.

Yeah because with limited time I’m supposed to be doing all that right? lol
You got it all mixed mate, if I had free time I would run all that stuff, not the contrary.

No, it’s being used correctly. Perhaps you don’t know what it means.

Pretty damn sure being killed every 5 minutes with no way to stop it except to leave the MAIN CITY detracts from my enjoyment.

I already said this earlier in this thread. If they die while tabbed out doing other things they are being “griefed”.

So, just like everything else in life, not everything thinks the same or likes the same things as everyone else. I am still participating in endgame activities because that’s kind of the point of the game, and I enjoy them.

I have no interest in participating in anything or relating to any people who automatically evaluate me negatively because I do not want to attend your party and refuse the invitation.
And continue to insist on my participation.

From the beginning there is no intention to create any form of healthy relationship between the parties.

No thanks, I’d rather decline.

Lemme highlight the part that you’re ignoring.

If this was griefing, then there would’ve been a ton of bans going out in expansions before BFA.

Let me tell you how they responded to our complaints.

“Its only for a short while”

We had to suck it up and now you can too.

Why do players such as yourself take it personally when players the dont know and will never see dont want to play with you? Did your mother have to tie a pork chop to your neck to get the dog to play with you? Find people that enjoy your kind of fun and go to town. You dont need to force other. Its like forcing unwanted ERP on others. Not a good idea.

What you fail to understand is that fun is relative. You might enjoy all those things but it doesn’t mean many do, in fact it seems that most just don’t, so much that Blizzard gave us an option to opt-out of all that.
What I do might not be fun to you and what you do isn’t for me and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with this.
There ar people who exclusively log in to pvp, others just raid or do m+, some just collect, some just use wow as a online chat and etc There are dozens or maybe hundreds of ways to play a game and just because you like one it doesn’t mean it’s the right or wrong way.
Just go wm on and enjoy your game with the others that like the same and leave the ones that doesn’t alone.

That says griefing is an example of intentionally detracting from others’ enjoyment not that everything that detracts from your enjoyment is griefing.

A prelaunch event that’s lore complaint and pulls players into the next expansion now equates to forcing ERP on others…interesting.

No, this invasion would have purported to affect your play limit. As far as your amoury indicates your play time consists on sitting in org complaining about a zombie invasion that might stop you just sitting in org.

Isn’t that every game? People play any game to pass the time.

No I understand that just fine.

Here is the problem. What you want ruins the game for me ALL the time. What I want would have ruined for you for a limited time.

See, that is the core issue. A once in a life time event is boring because they listen to feedback like yours, who don’t want to play a victim of the game because “i got a limited time to play.”.

In the old days saying that would got your laughed at by the community. Limited time to play in a mmo? Are you nuts? Now, because mmos have become more of a mobile game with time gates, playing it safe. People are playing for a chore list, and not being part of the world.

I weep for what we lost.

There are many reasons people play games. Just passing time is not the only one. Some people play them for fun. Others for competition etc.

So what? That’s my 15$ a month to sit in Org doing nothing and I have the right to not have some annoying troll pestering me while I try to chat with my friends.
How I play is irrelevant. What matters here is that OP wants choices taken away for her own enjoyment, I and many others just want to be able to not be griefed by others while we play our game, without expecting them to not be able to play with others.
Oh also, I am not complaining about it at all. I have WM off and the invasion doesn’t bother me in the slightest, what bothers me is people like OP thinking the game should be changed to suit what she thinks is the only right way to play the game.

You guys will do mental gymnastics out the wazoo to justify griefing.

That pretty much describes me… I’ve never touched M+ and never will, I don’t PvP and only do the occasional LFR. I find plenty to do considering I have 598 Days Played.

You’ve lost nothing. Thousands are still playing with WM on, there is literally nothing preventing you from playing the event and doing it. Fewer players, probably, but there’s definitely enough for everyone to enjoy the event out there, and you know that.
