Premades need to be broken

Or make it so you can solo/duo queue and that will put you into a non premade WSG, anything with 3+ people will get put into a premade game.

You smelling toast?

oh never mind just realised based on your past posts that you’re just trolling Cauchy. I’ll move along from you  don’t want to feed it.

rawrawrawr this is mean

I would like to nominate you for having the silliest mind out of everyone here.

Go play a single player game Ratmeat. /goodbye

Why do you spend all day defending premades? Do you get a kick out of stomping solo pugs? did you get beat up at school and this is your only outlet?

He’s completely right in defending group play in an MMO.

This is actually really sad to hear coming from you because Arugal (Your server) had some of the greatest premade rivalries and communities. My guess is you tfered from Yojamba or Felstriker?

Firstly, I don’t think that I’m defending premades. I’m questioning the reasoning that people are coming here with. I do not wish to play with people who are not actively trying to complete the PVP BG Objectives. I am raising points that I do not believe we should cater to that behavior.

I’ve literally already answered this. I do not want to play with people who throw. I would rather exclude them from my groups than group with them.

Actually, my mom taught me how to fight so I could defend myself and my friends against bullies.

I’ve answered your questions, would you do the same courtesy and answer mine?

Are you solo queueing and actively trying? Is this your claim?

Maybe he’s in a smaller guild full of people hes played with for years. Played different games with and across different wow expansions. Sitting in discord having a good time laughing and shooting the s#!t and they all like to do a few bgs together.

Have you considered joining a group yourself? It would solve your woes.

Snipy sealioning/gaslighting wsg is nothing new.

We don’t let teenagers play in the NFL, we have separate leagues for men and women’s sports(kinda not anymore lul), and every other videogame with human v human competition has measures to try and ensure a fair match(winrate, weight class, age). Chess does it, Backgammon does it, LoL, Dota 2, Counter Strike, weight lifting, etc.

I don’t think people mind losing if they are bad at their class either, but they want to be able to que up and get a similar match, even if it requires calibrating. I say this because one of the go-to taunts is to blame player skill. Normal people who are told they aren’t at a certain skill level will humbly agree and ask for a sparring partner at their own level, that is how you learn, not by getting stomped over and over.

A premade has several advantages, like discord, previous experience together, the social expectation from joining a premade where you all agree and follow calls, the ability to curate your class comp, or any other thing. People pretending this isn’t the case are either playing dumb or lying.

Devs have at least tweeted that they recognize the issue and a possible solution, no news or how if or how it will be done.

I have DND now but I will in the future.

You say that I’m sealioning/gaslighting? Well, I really don’t understand whether you are genuinely coming to this conversation to try to offer something or if you’re just here to attack someone with a different opinion.

Would you mind answering these questions?

Personally, I do solo queue, and the experiences that some people are describing here simply are not the experiences that I have had. I’ve stated several times (I’m not sure if you’ve seen my other posts, and I don’t expect you to have memorized them obviously) that I understand that it’s very possible for people to have different experiences with queues. There are a lot of people playing this game!

I also have a reasonable understanding of how taking a random sampling for say 3-10 matches in a history of tens, hundreds, thousands or more may not be anywhere near reflective of overall averages.

What I have noticed for myself is that I tend to queue into far more pug vs pug matches than pug vs premade matches when I queue solo. I’ve also noticed that my teams tend to do better when I am actively paying attention and trying my best than when I am distracted.

Of course, I am not saying or even trying to imply that this is proof that my anecdotal experiences are or have to be true for everyone. I’m merely stating that this the basis for my own biased perspectives.

In addition to this, I do not buy the narrative that people are genuinely queuing to have fun, do the BG objectives and are just getting demolished by premades. I very much stand by this:

I don’t know who you think you are addressing with this, and as stated above, I don’t expect you to have memorized all my previous posts or anything of the like, but I’m not of the particular belief that most BGs, premade or pug are particularly professional skill levels.

I think there are definitely some people who are very good at the game, and they might premade, but I also think that (I could be wrong - it’s just my opinion based on my own experiences and biases) that the vast majority of premades are just random trade-chat pug groups that have been put together through /LookingForGroup with a decent composition and no comms who will roll over, quit, throw, argue internally and even /afk out of the game if they face any difficulty.

So, I do not for a minute believe that a random pug group of players who are level 25 and have put some effort into gearing, such that they are in prebis with some raid gear (e.g. an average pug group) will be at a massive disadvantage versus an average premade, other than not having a good composition (they may have 10 warriors for example, and that would be tough, but still there might be some possibility of winning).

My issue is, and always has been that I do not think it is OK for people to queue into PVP Battlegrounds, then do absolutely nothing, or worse start berating their teammates for trying, while calling to “just let them cap.” “stop reviving.” “let them win.” “the game is over.”

That’s why we do them, sounds great. I always add the players I enjoy playing with from my server and inviting them to our premades because without grouping i might as well go play skyrim or dragonflight if I want a solo experience. Most of them are just Pug-premades anyway and are usually just a message away if you want in.

You can premade v premade then if enjoy it that much, which will be a thing p2. Premades stomping solo players who dont have a chance should never be a thing.

But everyone knows most of you premade enjoyers only exist to stomp pugs because you arent good at PVP.

They’re introducing a battlegrounds matchmaker in phase 2. A matchmaker doesn’t need separte queues to prioritize premade v premade or solo v solo. So in phase 2 if solo pugs face premades, we’ll know blizzard’s intent if for premades to roflstomp pugs.

then just run a premade. I only run premades…

I run into premades maybe 3/10 games, so not every game is premades.

Yeah, guys. Duh!

Just make your own premade, buy 50-100 US dollars worth of FAPs from your local gold trader like the pros do and you’re all set!

Thank God they finally announced you can’ t item restore WSG marks of honor and they are going to purge mailboxes of them. Hopefully we see less premades.
