Another day, another 150 posts of angry PvPers spitting into the wind.
and we got you s screaming for attention…
Considering how many people have their experience ruined because of this behavior a temp ban is completely appropriate.
Hi. So now is the time (70s - 79) to play your epic BGs premade free. Enjoy.
They were in the 61-69 bracket in DF though my first encounter was maybe mid S1.
It’s still a multiplayer experience where you have to play with other people.
Maybe that doesn’t appeal to you and/or checkmark the made-up boxes in your head over what constitutes as multiplayer/group play, but you’re still playing with other people.
It’s got nothing to do with organized teamplay and absolutely nothing in common with playing with friends/guildies while chilling in discord. You’ve made it obvious that you don’t know what it’s like to play with friends though. So, like I said before…
I don’t think the issue is communities wanting to play as teams it’s more that they’re placed against random teams. I stated earlier that I wouldn’t want them to pull the rug out from under you and outright kill communities and suggested some ideas like rated epics or some tournament structure where you guys can continue just playing against people that enter the situation by choice.
I was around during OQueue, I’ve had many opportunities to play with sync communities even a couple in DF but, aside from possible account actions, I worry I’d be contributing to something destructive. I don’t even like playing dps because I feel bad when I dishearten an opponent to where they basically give up and want me to just kill them. Premade epics are a symptom of deeper matchmaking issues it’s just to fix them seems not in Blizzard’s budget for some reason.
Complete non-sequitur. No one cares about your group of friends that are available 100% of the time to play premades with.
Although it is nice to see the, “WE JUST WANNA HAVE FUN AND A GOOD TIME MAAAAN” stoners for a change.
Just to reiterate, don’t play epics if you’re not a community member or you’ll just be fodder.
Their whole take makes no sense simply because it is a mode made for random queues. They may as well say if you don’t have a guild/friends who like to pvp tough, you are out.
One, that means nobody will get into pvp.
Two, it is literally what randoms are for, random zones and people not a premade.
Three, rated can and should be played by people in a large group who want to play together.
Four, these groups are not long term friends deciding to play together. They are formed specifically for the purpose of honor farming through quick efficient kills.
The problem with this thread is that one side has been consistently disingenuous about the whole thing.
They sure took out a lot of posts. Oh well, like I said in a deleted post, they determine what’s acceptable and not us.
yeah the post count jumps all over as people delete or are removed from the forums. It is starting to feel a bit artificial.
Probably for the best that section was removed, I’d like to keep it focused towards being productive for Blizzard but we regressed a bit towards insults and I was partly at fault. I sorta feel the thread’s run its course, we explained our feelings and ideas as did the opposition. I think we did better than the battleground forum threads which are a very repetitious back and forth.
I remember I got to lead a meeting with a lot of experienced PhDs with awesome credentials when I was in grad school. I learned the difference between Harvard and MIT PhDs, it was a lot of bickering as well. It’s just human nature, I guess. The bigger the meeting, the less that actually gets done.
The PVP forums are a dumpster fire and the threads there usually boil down to the stoner argument- ‘we just wanna have fun and a good time maaaaan’- where they conveniently ignore that they’re claiming entitlement to a captive audience and think it’s unfair they might have to fight another premade, and the people accusing other people of circumventing the limitation placed on queuing for epic BG’s.
Oh, you misunderstand, the point isn’t to Blizzard’s benefit, it’s that they need to fix it.
I’ll take things that never happened for 100 Alex. You’re an absolute plague to society.
I suppose from the perspective of an unaccomplished life such stories must seem far fetched. It was above my station, I was working as a research assistant in a large chemical company at the time and my boss did not show to a cross functional team to discuss a technical issue in our department. There was another person that should have led the group in his place but they were caught up in something and didn’t come until near the end leaving me as the only person that could explain the problem thus the de facto leader of the group.
Because blizzard no longer knows how to make a functional playable game for the masses.
This is a very odd response. How do you jump from I don’t believe you to you are a plague on society?
I’ll take drunk posting for $1000.
