Predictions for WoW Blizzcon 2019

True, I forgot about the story aspect and the flak they have been getting for the loot boxes. They’ll probably still have some kind of microtransaction in place though. If they don’t it will very much surprise me and make me wonder if they are finally starting to see how they are coming across to their player base.

It’ll be very interesting. Thing is with Coop/Singleplayer games is that they are very different beasts when it comes to what is acceptable and what isn’t. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see no mtx and if we see any it is just a few cosmetic appearances. I think Blizz has known for awhile that some fans are feeling more and more let down and betrayed by them hence why they will likely make great strides to fix that this year during Blizzcon. I will be shocked if it is anything less then stellar.

think there will be a lot of vague unspecific promises that sound optimistic in general

how they will actually be delivered will be the issue and they won’t discuss it at all, the devil is in the details

There’s got to be a reason all of our characters have little Horde and Alliance symbols. I’m thinking the reveal of a “diplomat” quest that you do that unlocks an ability to create a character of any race on either faction you choose.

Oh Im thinking so as well. Especially since they arent colored in at all… almost as if there is something Blizz is hiding and wants players to discover soon. Im totally anticipating the ability to switch factions very soon. Im also expecting more Horde/Alliance teamwork due to everything thats happened.

  • More of the devs being garbage excuses for humans
  • Traditional “just in fun” mockery of Alliance mains
  • Another unnecessary Jesse Cox interview where he injects a left field question to dunk on high elf fans
  • Hour long panel where they discuss how the new expansion’s soul-sucking rental gear grind is going to work

How are the devs garbage excuses for humans? They are literally just doing their job and on top of that most of them are not involved with high level decisions within the company.

Well alot of us would love to see those things so nyeh

-New WoW Expansion announced

-Yada, yada, Bolvar comments how we need to make more death knights to battle this new upcoming evil.

-New starter zone for allied races to become Death Knights. (Original one will not go away as those Death Knights were raised by Arthas)

-New Allied races announced. Really up in the air as to what it could be.

-Alliance will get quests where they can choose to follow Tyrande to attack Horde, or choose to follow Anduin to not attack Horde.

-Brand new, never before seen system in WoW where we find a belt that Chromie pulled out of time itself and she wants us to go around the world and collect time particles to power it up. Thus granting us our BIS belt item from the beginning of the expansion and allow us to constantly keep leveling this belt up until it grants us powers that we once had in the past but lost for some reason.

-Diablo 4 announced with that same guy from last year walking out onto the stage saying, “What, do you guys not have PC’s?”

-Diablo 2 remake for computer and Nintendo switch

-New Overwatch character + cinematic

-New Hearthstone expansion

-New Character for HOTS, Saurfang

Alot of that will likely happen tbh. Dont really know if they will show Bolvar though.

Probably something big like they did with Legion, they tend to go hard on hype after they had a disappointing expansion

Diablo 4 is gonna be the main thing imo…i’m just curious to see what kind of game it actually is…i’m sure it’ll be something new…cross your fingers.

Warcraft 3 reforged to be playable in weeks to come after Blizzcon…

They’ll announce the new expansion for WoW, and the new systems they’re thinking about implementing…hopefully they get away from the horrible azerite artifact system though…i didn’t even like the idea that everyone gets a legendary to work towards, then you only enjoy it for the last like 1/3 of the games’ content. i hated that about MoP specifically.

Hopefully class sets will come back…otherwise i think it’s wasted talent…artists at blizz (and musicians) are the only ones that haven’t really screwed anything up for the franchise over the years, and have gotten better…would like to see their potential explored more.

Hopefully a new class too…which isn’t a tinker class… :expressionless:

Based off of the report done by Jason Schrirer (Btw I probably butchered his last named) He said Diablo 4 is currently codenamed Fenris and will likely be a third person perspective game with heavy influences from Diablo 2. I hope however that they dont remove the artifact system simply because every time they get the systems in place to a point where people are happy with them they restart. If anything I would hope they keep the artifact system and continue to improve it

Here’s me thinking the horde and alliance symbols mean that the character is a member of the Horde or Alliance.

Hey, lets not derail this thread into Hong Kong/China discussion  There is a Mega Thread for that stuff over here

Its going to get brought up in any discussion of blizconn because there are planned protests.

Would be nice if it was some sort of exploration/rpg/survival set up similar to Fallout/Elder Scrolls.

I just don’t see another top down isometric action rpg being a thing for Blizzard any longer.

edit. not for pc at any rate

Thats ok. Doesnt change the fact you are clearly attempting to get people riled up in here.
