Predictions for WoW Blizzcon 2019

What are some of your predictions for WoW in this year’s blizzcon?

Obviously there will be a expansion reveal for 9.0

My big one that I think is going to happen is they will announce Any Race To Any Faction
Tyrande will be a villian

Also please keep the whole protesting thing out of here please

Corgis Unleashed announcement.

Also a new Class that will steal something from Warlocks. That’s always a safe bet.

“Introducing the summoner class!”

Warlock class changes:
• All pets have been removed from all warlock specs

Im expecting alot out of this Blizzcon and however I am definitely not expecting everything I say here to be fully announced.
The Definites in my opinion would be WoW 9.0 expac reveal, WoW 8.3 release date, Diablo 4, Hearthstone new expac, The next Starcraft Battlepass.
The Possibilities but may not happen:
The Overwatch singleplayer/Coop thing that Im kinda hyped for tbh, A Hearthstone rework basically making it HS 2.0, A new IP.

Regardless of if my hopes come true or not the one thing I do know is this Blizzcon will be big and I hope it brings the community back together and excited again

I don’t mind losing 99% of my minions if that means I get rid of Demonology (aka weakling calling for help)

But at least let me keep my Succubi :sob:

Your succubi will follow another and when you switch specs into demo you will get nothing but a message that says “Play a demon hunter” before switching you back to destro or affli.

The end times are near, Mortis.

-Diablo 4
-New Overwatch Game
-Some weak attempt at Hong Kong protesting that just turns into a garbage fire
-New WoW Expansion

My one and only fear for that comes from the complete idiots who intend to rush the stage or throw the hate at the fans “For not supporting a good cause”. If it turns violent or people throw shade at the fans its gonna blow up in their face.

Some panels. Some game playing. Someone from Korea winning money. Costume Contest.

Don’t have a lot of expectations or desires at this point.

I expect to see police arresting free speech protesters. Blizz will then put out a message going, “Do you guys not have free speech?”

These are my guesses/bingo points so far for the next expansion.

  • Level Squish Confirmed
  • Old World Revamp and possible minor time skip
  • Player Housing alongside the World Revamp
  • Race/Class restrictions eased/mostly removed
  • 4th Specs Announced
  • Talent Trees 4.0
  • Finally seeing that Fishing revamp they have kept wanting to do and keep talking about but never happens.
  • More Allied Races Announced
  • More transmog improvements and less restrictions. I am partially expecting Transmog 3.0 with a bunch of QoL changes and features such as Druids being able to directly pick their shapeshift forms separate from item transmog.
  • Major Character Customization overhaul with new options like separated eye customization from face options, more hair styles, more hair colors. I feel like this is going to be a big expansion for expanding character creation/customization.

These are my major predictions/hopes for 9.0 as of right now

For Blizzcon as a whole…

  • Diablo 4 reveal
  • Diablo II Remake reveal
  • Warcraft III Reforged Release Date and showing off some cool new stuff
  • Something new to the Warcraft Franchise as a whole to celebrate 20 years of Warcraft and 15 years of WoW
  • Nothing new for Starcraft
  • A WoW related Mobile Game such as Pet Battles for Mobile or something different.

Just my guesses. I honestly can not wait to see what actually happens at Blizzcon

EDIT: OH! Also, some new beta that can be played at home if you have a Virtual Ticket, akin to what they did with Classic. I am guessing if they do something like that again it would be WCIII:Reforged but I would hope for WoW 9.0 stuff if they have it in a playable state at Blizzcon. Mind you, all assumptions/speculation on my part.

I doubt to many will be willing todo that. Several people are using this as their only vacation for the year, cost of travel, hotel, etc. Bit much to pay to get locked in jail for a weekend.

I believed that as well before I saw how many psychos intend to disrupt and attempt to cause a scene during the opening ceremony. Like I said though hopefully nothing bad happens and all is good so everyone enjoys themselves

If they stay in a public place and don’t riot and got city permits needed they’ll be fine. If they try to trespass on private property, harass/assault people, etc. Jail time, victims sueing, etc. Is likely to happen.

Try to keep it peaceful guys. They can’t follow you into the convention hall and blizzard has a policy that if someone is harrassing you in the convention find a security person and they’ll escort the person out of the convention hall.

Actually the protests are being organized by AccessNow, so I fully expect it to be professionally organized and above board with only a couple outliers. The fact that AccessNow has their sights set on Activision however, says quite a bit.

To be honest most violent protests are sparked by idiots.

And you really can’t say much about the blizzard gaming community’s number of idiots to sample from.

I think they will talk about Overwatch 2 and the next WoW expansion. Some features for WoW I really hope to see would be player housing (done right this time around), a revamp of character customization with more options. Probably more stuff that I can’t think of right now.

What I’m also thinking will happen but certainly hope won’t is protesters and people causing drama over the Hong Kong incident. I would really hate to see things get violent at BlizzCon. :frowning:

Actually enticing. I don’t think they’re going to eliminate factions though. I reckon we won’t be killing N’zoth (or at least I hope so) this xpack and we’ll be banding together as the Black Empire expands. Like I’m hoping for the raid we “win” the fight but in reality we lost the fight and it leads into the next xpack.

I expect also a new class to come out OR class overhauls completely.

I’m excited to see the Sigma cosplays too c;

Sometimes that is the case, but other times violent protests happen when peaceful protests failed first, which is what happened with HK. Peaceful protests failed, China cracked down further, THEN the violence started breaking out, just most of the actual violence is on the police’s heads. Police have killed some of the protesters, I’ve seen pro-govt people try to throw teenage protestors off bridges protest leaders physically attacked… the list goes on really. HK is really in a mess.
