Preach's latest video

Excluding the loot discussion, because while I agree that removing master looter was a mistake, I can’t substantiate the claim that people are asking guilds as a whole to be removed; the rest of the video is spot on.

This expansion wasn’t well thought out. Resources seem to all have gone into island expeditions, and even mythic raiding was a joke with Vectis adds or whatever being numerically impossible to kill in time and developers just telling world first racers “hey have you tried hitting it harder?”, And MOTHER being an outright meme. Raid balance hasn’t been that bad since the cataclysm 10v25 debacle.

Professions and crafting look like an afterthought, Expulsom, sanguicell and hydrocore are all more tedious to get than the rewards for obtaining them grant, as once you have enough to craft a piece, chances are you already have an equal or better item in the slot.

idk man. It’s really hard to watch this video and say anything he said outside of the guild thing is wrong. Takes a lot of stretching, and I’m honestly not that flexible.

I haven’t heard or seen any of that, personally.

However I do think removing ML is a mistake. A fix for a problem that didn’t really exist.

Non-guild majority groups already had forced PL (pugs).

I’m sorry but if you are in a guild that constantly ninja’s items and you choose to stay there …that’s kind of on you.

My experience with ML/loot council has always been …new members get pretty decked out early (since a lot come in on farm raids/bosses). Then during progression…with some exceptions for tanks…loot council typically just turns into round-robin where initial order is dictated by attendance/performance.

Any guild with rampant abuse of boss rewards never lasts for long.

Maybe stop trying to join “new guild x y z” and stick to guilds that have been around for a while.

Youtubers, aka, kings and queens of click bait. No thanks. As per master looter being ruined, thank the community of their greed and hubris for it’s removal. 13 years of master looter and deafened cries of those who were wronged and lied to. Blizzard acted for what was best for the community and now we reap what we sow.

My guild is far from dead. We have 15-20 people on at all times of the day, a heroic raid team, a mythic raid team, a PvP group and runs every week just to help people gear.

I’ve tried rerolling on new servers and always come back because this game blows without a solid guild.

Preach just eviscerated the Dev team. This expansion is FUBAR’d.

Wasn’t so much people posted they wanted but how many people posted in favor of it.

Let’s be honest for pugs I can see a master loot being a problem. But only people who use it is guilds for the most part.

So when they announced it all these casuals who hardly do the Content came out of the woodwork and were in favor of personal loot. Then adding ninja looting as their argument, even though that’s hardly a problem these days.

Just like when they announced you can’t change gear inside a dungeon. All the casuals came to fourms talking about how it’s a good change to take away options from the player…

So yes, people were posting about how they hated it. Then people everywhere would always comment how they were in favor of removing CONTENT that doesn’t have anything to do with them.
Not so much as posts but people were in favor of it cause it didn’t affect their LFR raid

I have to believe that some things like this suffer from the “customer service” effect. The CSR’s likely classify incoming requests to get a sense of where the main problems are. This is one of several ongoing research channels.

Did Master Loot drama show up on the CSR’s plate too regularly?

It would make it seem to the devs like its the source of problems.

I’m glad he made that video. The part about catering to twisted people who don’t even care about the game was probably the best way I’ve heard it described.

I don’t expect anything to change, though. Blizzard is too far gone, and too out of touch. This year’s Blizzcon is testament to that.

You guys have phones, right!?

That’s not what’s happening though. They are just pointing out some average person with a mic isn’t the end all be all person to listen to.

Don’t have to watch a video to say someone doesn’t speak for you

Meh… He will just cry about “death threats” like he did on with WoD casuals don’t deserve anything video… Anything for those sweet sweet clicks.

I might get there in time for the next expac myself lol

Nope, and I’ll probably die without one too, unless I get some sort of bionic implant lol :stuck_out_tongue:

Sometimes Preach seems like he’s bored of streaming, too.

saves time

why the heck would someone want to give streamers views - if you have a point make it, anything else is just basically advertising a streamer

It was a problem in some guilds as well and believe it or not people can actually think something blizzard does is right every once in a while.

It was a huge assumption that only people who do LFR like personal loot - last thread on this there was a mythic raider stating why personal loot works better for his guild.
