I would like to see some proof there was people who actually asked blizzard to entirely remove the master loot system. I have been on this forum a lot for the last 4 years and I don’t recall a single person suggesting master loot should be removed entirely.
I am 90% sure this was all blizzard’s idea for whatever reason.

I haven’t seen the video in question, but I think the push for removal of master loot came from people who mostly pug. I don’t get the impression that many of these people are anti-guild (other than not necessarily liking being a pug in an otherwise all guild group, which I know is an opinion some share, including @snowfox I believe.
wow design isn’t a democracy though, so I don’t think it’s super important if other players are trying to destroy the guild system.
Sorry dude just because someone said something on YouTube doesn’t mean it’s well thought out. Just look at that beuller guy.

Oh it is .
I’m not a mythic raider and never have been but I always felt it should be left in for mythic raids and for any normal or heroic raid where the make up was at least 80%+ guild members .
PL should only be for queued instances or for when non queueable content is mainly pugged .

I always find it funny that if its a video with something negative to say the forums come to wows defense, but if its a video pointing out good things in wow then it was posted by schills. Some people just have deep longing to be contrary d bags lol.

There is a large thread right now about the removal of master loot and how bad it’s been. There are a lot of people there saying they are glad it’s gone, many who have stated that they are actively happy that it has harmed hardcore guilds.

That may be but they aren’t the people that called for it to be removed.
Literally nobody is asking for guilds to be removed from the game, this is laughably absurd. This is why I don’t take any of the WoW content creators seriously, nothing but hyperbole because that’s what brings attention and thus viewers.
