I dont see these things as bad, with all the stuff going on i think this is the kick in the nuts blizz needs to get their stuff together.
So many things to criticize but I’ll just do one that is receiving less attention:
Traveling to and within the new raid. (For those who don’t know, there is no portal or flight point anywhere near the raid. You have to travel through the entire Beastwarrens on ground, either from Venari or from Korthia, and there are dozens of elites, often in packs, that charge and stun you while trying to get to the instance. Once inside, there’s a lot of running, without mount, between bosses, and very few shortcuts unlike Nathria. It’s so bad that when pugs join the raid they often just leave if there isn’t a Warlock or people outside to summon them).
Was this an oversight? If so, awful and speaks to problems with game design and development.
Was this an intentional and desperate decision done to increase play time by inconveniencing people and wasting their time? If so, terrible.
Either way, inexcusable.

So you’re saying an older more mature crowd of WoW players (the majority by the way) are suppose to believe, and follow a younger crowd who take whatever these streamers say as the WoW gospel? You don’t think these streamers aren’t doing what they do for the coin?

I think I’m done too. Even before the lawsuit stuff. The content itself is alright. I enjoy Korthia, I enjoy Tavresh and I think the new raid is good. I think the assaults are fun (Not you, Necrolord)
But the story is disgustingly awful and even more cringy than BfA
I don’t enjoy having to recraft my legendary and I DON’T enjoy how Korthia crystals are random as to whether or not you get one as a daily reward. My main does not get them as a reward but one of my 4 alts will. Thanks
I don’t enjoy this shard of domination nonsense. I have three pieces but not the RIGHT pieces, I need to make my way all the way to Sylvanas for God knows how long for that specific helmet that has stats I do NOT want but because I need the equip effect–Oh and trying to get the actual shards I need every week from a full clear AND THEN LFR incase they dont drop from normal, is trash Who decided the GEMS should be RNG TOO?
I still hate the covenant player power thing, yeah, they gave us a freebie but to grind out 52+ levels even if it’s “quick?” and what happens next patch with their balance changes?
They repeatedly take concerns of the players, recognize them and say “Too bad, WE like this” There’s so much more to say but I dont want to go on a long tangent about it and it’s nothing that hasnt been said before
And now with this disgusting lawsuit nonsense? It’s too much, I’m tired.

God i hope so, big streamers losing their audiences is hilarious to me.
Actually, Asmongold just hit 40k subs today because he is standing up what is right by going against Blizzard rather than being a Yes Men and continuing to stream WoW content that his toxic chat wanted him to do.

Idk, Asmongold stated he is still going to play with his guild. I believe the OP was stating that Asmongold is done streaming WoW for now until things change.
I feel like a lot of people are using Preach leaving to air their own personal grievances over the game.
OP specifically pointing to the story. Some people have pointed towards the lawsuit.
But Preach is quitting due to two main points.

Preach absolutely LOATHES the Domination Socket system and systems like it. He hates that there’s so many hoops that you have to jump through as a raider each tier only for Blizzard to go “lol it doesn’t matter, do it all again next tier”. He spends about 12 minutes

A much lesser point, but WoW just isn’t there financially in terms of effort to reward ratio as a streamer. He’d end up doing his regular streamer hours playing a bunch of different games and then ONTOP of that, he’d have to play WoW for several hours offstream to make actual WoW YT content.
He doesn’t care about the story and the actual allegations were never more than a footnote in his video.

Dominaton sockets was just an example. He said it has been non-stop failure since the start of BfA.

Which is why I said “and systems like it”.
Which yes, absolutely includes BFA systems like Azerite Gear, Essences or Corruptions. Domination Sockets are just a really bad example of this for him because:
- They’re extremely powerful.
- There’s two layers of RNG. You need the Domination Sockets themselves and the actual gems.
- They’re boring. They don’t change how you play, they just give huge damage increases that just kinda happen.

All the people cheering secretly want the streamers to stay, though. Once they’re gone, you won’t be able to just roll out “Flibbidiybwibbidy yur only sayin’ that curz a stweemer done sezzed it wurrrrrr!”

I honestly don’t care where the streamers go (unless it’s Fortnite).
Don’t say “we”, you don’t speak for everyone. I don’t follow streamers, but I do know who they are, and sometimes I’ll watch a clip to hear their point of view, which is what we place here…our point of view.
The “current” lore?? What do you consider “current”?? Afrasiabi was designing quests for Vanilla Elwynn Forest for god’s sake. People keep placing this “the game is suffering recently because of this behavior” narrative when most of the allegations are from what people like you would consider the “golden days” of Wrath.
