I don’t PvP personally, so I don’t care about the 2 week announcement honestly. Looking at it from Blizzard’s point of view though, I think giving that 2 week announcement is probably going to alienate less players than having a 3 week pre-patch instead of 4 weeks.
I don’t really see how it alienates anyone to have say a 7 day announcement verses an 11 day. It’s 4 days.
Those PvPer’s are pretty serious and I think there’s even some sort of PvP event on the 27th. I’m fairly certain they will get their 2 week announcement.
That’s the AWC, not really related to the live game, they can have tournament realms on any patch they want.
And 11 days vs 7 days isn’t really that big of a difference honestly.
BTW end of season isn’t about just pvp

We can agree to disagree I guess, I still say October 6th. If I’m wrong then no harm no foul. I’m ready to move on from BfA as much as anyone.

well there is alot of people out there hopein Pre-patch doesn’t come for awhile due to the gold farming being killed when it happen’s so hey maybe We’ll get lucky
Blizz doesn’t want you to have time to level new chars for expansion. They want you to feel rushed so you buy boosts.
It’s very obvious they don’t want prepatch to be long, as there’s not much going on in it. So I don’t think they will mind giving us less than a month
Ummm… This week I already leveled 4 characters to 120 - You have plenty time to level them all.
AWC is not played on live realms.

Same old ridiculous justification. Most people who want the pre-patch to last 4+ weeks don’t care about the pre-patch “event”. They want the other changes which are massive… several class overhauls, a completely reworked leveling system, the level squish which has never been done before and all the new customizations.
