given that they have almost alway had atleast a month between prepatch and launch i am thinking that pre-patch will be next friday the 25th. what do you think?

No, the pre-patch would be on the usual weekly update which is always on a Tuesday. If it’s not this coming Tuesday it’ll probably be on the 29th

This. Content Updates happen on Tuesday. Always. It’s maintenance day.
As for when, clearly they aren’t even remotely ready. The other constant in this game is that they HAVE, not should, HAVE to announce AND close the PvP Season. You can’t have the same season running while class, systems and other changes go live. That also hasn’t happened. Whenever it does, you’ll know the pre-patch is ready to go.

i think they delaay shadow land
Technically, they don’t HAVE to announce the end of the PvP season. Sure, it would suck for those people who like to wait until the final week to get ranking, but… they could just end it with no warning and let the ranking stand as they are.

If they were going to delay it, they would have publicly announced that by now. It’s like a month away. Any kind of delay to a major release like this would not be kept secret until the last second. They are not going to try and scramble to see if they can make it or not, then cancel on the 20th of October if they haven’t got it yet.

While I’m 99.9% sure it will be on September 29th, a Tuesday, sometimes Blizzard likes to drop some sneaky Thursday bombs on us.

Try Tuesday the 22nd.There are no more cloak upgrades next week and corruption is being removed.

Aside from WoD, I don’t remember any major thing that released on a thursday. And especially not a regular patch like prepatch.

AWC is on the 27th, unlikely they would push class changes, level squish, and removal of corruptions onto their championship.

They said a long time ago that corruption resistance was never going to go past 125. It’s 125 on my DK right now. They also said that when corruption upgrades stopped, corruption was going away. I stopped bothering with any more malefic cores. No point.
That would be nice. We’ll see.
Patches take place on Tuesdays, never a Friday.
There’s no way the prepatch comes any earlier than October 6th. They’ve not done an arena season cutoff warning yet, and they always do that two weeks before prepatch.
This is going to be a really short prepatch, which is bizarre considering so much is changing in it.

It’ll be on a Tuesday, like usual, and I’m pretty sure they will announce it beforehand, so…we all just need to sit tight.
I’m still grinding out my list of things, and I STILL have not gotten that freaking mail muncher. Sigh. I have 235,000 coalescings to burn, so I’m determined to get that thing this week.
