October 6th is the most likely now and makes a lot of sense too.
Still just a guess like all the other dates people were expecting.
True, but I would go out on a pretty long limb that it wonât drop any sooner than October 6th.
The way things are going it could be later.
technically the 29/30th is close enough to the end of the month that they can still say âit ran through the month of septemberâ
But the rep thing isnât something they would delay the prepatch over, itâs not that big of deal.
They would totally delay it for that.
6th is the last date imo, they usually launch prepatch WITHOUT the event, so that would be 1 week of prepatch then 2 weeks with the event, and then launch.
I really donât think so, rep doesnât matter to many people.
I wouldnât call it a delay anyway, moreso they wouldnât overlap it with an event.
Anything shorter than 4 weeks will be a delay in most peopleâs eyes as we have never had a prepatch shorter than 4 weeks.
Specially after they said âprepatches usually last 4-6 weeksâ back in july lol.
Thereâs only 2 weeks worth of quests in the pre-patch event, so 3 weeks seems about right actually for this one.
Amount of quests generally doesnât matter. MoP into WoD still had at least 4 weeks and barely had any quests.
Thereâs a lot that people do during prepatch that have nothing to do with events.
Then October 6th is the perfect date for that. 1 week of prepatch and 2 weeks with event, launch on 26th.
Iâm sticking with October 6th. If Iâm wrong Iâm wrong, but I donât think they will drop it while the rep thing is active and October 13th seems too late to me.
Iâm not saying the 6th is out of the question, just that it will be considered delayed at that point, by a lot of people.
Funny how people can consider something delayed that never had a release date in the first place lol.
Well, when you have 7 other expansions of precedent, people start to assume things.
Like the PvP announcement. If you believe that there must be a 2 week pvp announcement youâre going off past precedent, one of these two is going to be wrong this time.
If its October 6th, they still have time to give a 2 week warning, which is in line with the PvP announcement. Which honestly might be more important than having 4 weeks of a pre-patch instead of 3 weeks, not sure what difference one week will make.
Because pre-patches have always been 4 weeks or more.
Itâll definitely make people rush to get any even things they want even more than usual.
And people probably wonât get as much leveling done as they were planning with 4 weeks or more.
Weâve had SO many âget this crap doneâ announcements, including another one sent out this week that I donât really think the 2 week thing is that big of a deal.
