I was really hoping they would splay out like demon hunter wings when you jump… I mean if you are going to re-use DH wings you might as well keep their animation properties even if they are tiny right?

People that preorder crap from blizzard deserve absolutely no sympathy since it lets them know there’s still a sizeable chunk of the player base willing to chuck out money for shoddy products. Choke on your wings. I hope they stay tiny and unmoving.

If I were to guess, they are copy paste Drakthyr wings, with the initial intention to give them to human forms for Drakthyr, but blizz gave them to everyone for extra pre-order intensive to earn more money. Looks cool tho, if they match your skin color/armor.

This is what I thought when I first saw the image. They need to be twice the size.
They look normal for me, but then I haven’t tried them on a normal size race

Any Dragon within the fantasy genre wouldn’t be able to fly due to its tiny wings.
The models themselves are great. I like the metal accessories. But there’s more to it than the model itself - scale and animation also applies. And the wings miss the mark on those counts.
They can look cool, though. We can’t with these wings, as is.

Its funny because people complained about the Necrolord bone wings being too floppy. So blizz made the new wings too stiff. They need to split the difference in physics between the two and then roll out an update to both the new dragon wings and the Necrolord bone wings.

I’m actually in agreement here. I was disappointed when I saw how small they are and how lacking they had been involving anything.
If they had been a bit longer and a bit more – you know, good looking, they’d be worth it. But it feels lacking.

Same. I mostly just want the wings. I feel like they “might” replace my cloak of concentrated hatred as a tmog piece if the wings have enough purple in them.

I was finally able to get a better look at the wings. Blizz, please fix them, They are visible on most of the thinner races but on the thicker males & pandaren they don’t rise up over the shoulders enough to be visible from the front. They just need to be spaced out and higher on the back.
