If that’s you’re logic then why do you want to change the rules and lore of the dracthyr?
I still just really want them to be able to choose to be other classes. It think it’s really weird and off putting to say they can ONLY be Envokers. Apparently Ion said there’s a ‘possiblity’ of them getting to be other things later, but I hope that’s not too much later. Really it’d just be more fun and enjoyable if they had that option out of the box, right away. I’m cool with them being more sleek but I’d be fine with MORE customization. We have the technology, let them have a buffer option!

Since Cataclysm was the last time race and class options have been expanded, it could be some time before more restrictions are lifted. Demon Hunters were also stated to get more race options but we are moving into the third expansion after Legion with no mention of delivering on that promise.

Like I said, the elves had already split at the time of the sundering, The difference expanded over time, but it had already happened.
the rules and lore have been established. They can only be evokers. evokers can only be dracthyr. Evokers use dragon form in combat. Established by the rules and lore for dracthyr
That’s not how it happened.
The sundering was over before the night elves left for the eastern kingdoms and began to mutate in absence of the well of eternity.
You might want to go read up on that.
They had not in terms of geography; the High Elves left the Night Elven lands after the Sundering as they would not give up using magic where Night Elven society outlawed it.
Yeah I don’t see them adding more classes to DH. DH as a class were created for one ‘reason’. But in this case, you can still have blood elves or night elves be other classes. They aren’t stuck being just Demon Hunters.
Agreed, but I would love to play a Draenei Demon Hunter.
Ion only said that dracthyr can only be evoker he never stated that evoker can’t use magic in visage form
no another member of blizzard stated that rule
Regardless, these rules can change. Tauren could not be Paladins and Priests but now they can be.

Needs to be a toggle with an auto cast option.

They likely don’t want to change them. they worked hard on these models. They designed the model to make use of their unique class. they want their work shown

yes I wouldn’t have a problem with the race if it was possible to auto toggle to human form after a fight and I don’t really have any complaint on the current model I just prefer the humanoid customization

And they still will be with the option for players to opt out of it. Again, what is the problem? Are toys that change the players’ appearances going away too? I can be permanently in a disguised form with the amount of appearance-changing toys I have, so I can choose not to ever see the Dracthyr form if I choose to already.

The systems are also designed to meet metrics for the shareholders.
This argument really is pointless. They are sticking to what they are doing. I’ll leave you all to fantasize about what you would rather have over what we got
