[Poll] - Which character wins this fight?

The Dark Iron, formidable as he is, probably isn’t going to overcome the Mag’har AND their wolf (and that’s one scary looking wolf) so…

Take the wolf out of the equation and my gold’s on the Dark Iron.

Dark Iron Dwarf, no doubt. Biased I have one

Who draws these? I love these Allied Races versus art

The mounted character will win because of the advantage.

Dwarf. The answer is always Dwarf, no matter.

The rest of you lot are just lucky we haven’t decided to take over Azeroth already.

Edit: for those interested in how the Dark Iron gets this done, the Orc is trying to wield that pole arm with only one hand. He’ll deflect it towards her with his shield as she comes past and then deliver a crippling blow to the wolf’s hind leg in one full motion with his mace. The wolf will go down throwing her to her left. Game over.

Paladins always beat warriors. Dwarf all the way.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Plus Dwarves are superb fighters. Orc’s are as well, but you just can’t beat a Dwarf.

For the ALLIANCE!

I’m going with the Mag’Har Orc; here’s why…

After engaging in combat, she leaps from her wolf mount Mr Scruffles, while drawing out her extremely sharp (resolution) Katana. In one swift motion cuts the DarkIron in half diagonally. She flicks the blood from her HIGH QUALITY Katana, and fluidly returns it to its scabbard.

This is how the scene plays out!

None can withstand the glorious steel that is that of the Burning Blade tribe. Folded 12034981453245 times in traditional purification process to make the most Glorious steel for a Blade Master that is unbreakable! Burning Blade curved swords can cut through car, and still dice tomatoes.

this is FULL of WIN!! :+1:

They fight and get bloody. The wolf smells the blood, kills both and sleeps with a full belly.

The orc is half naked and has a spear made for slashing. Not even properly equipped. Why? Why would you use a spear made for slashing against people in plate armor? Why? That negates the main benefit of having a spear in the first place.

Dwarf is lacking a helm, but is otherwise full protected.

There’s very little the orc can do to the dwarf. That spear is not getting through the dwarf’s armor.

Dwarf wins hands down just because he came to the fight with proper equipment.

What’s that runt going to do, kneecap the wolf?

You mean to tell me in WoW if I want to win all the fights and be the best I just have to pick a class that wears plate and I’m invincible? How am I just learning about this? What if the orc is an arms war and in full plate, but Tmogged?

Well, plate should be completely immune to slashing damage. Magic stuff, blunt weapons, and piercing weapons are another story.

Maybe in the real world. I’ve seen rogues kill warriors in Azeroth, and I think these two cuties in the picture might live there. What if that 2 hander is a mace tmogged to a polearm?

Yeah, I was looking at that and I just felt that the orc had entirely the wrong weapon for the situation. Between the shield spikes and the mace, the dwarf has the defensive advantage in that he can wound the wolf and snap the polearm.

Then it just becomes who can outrun the other.

Where’s the Double KO option?

What if they knock each other out?

See the backward-facing spike on the blade? That’s a hook. You grab your opponent’s weapon, shield, or limb, and then trip them, throw them, or - especially nasty option if you’re mounted - drag them behind you.

Polearms give you plenty of options against armored foes. Especially ones who are busy trying to deal with a giant wolf.
