Policy Update for Input Broadcasting Software

Too bad it was that late into classic, could’ve been earlier.

Yeah, this is just a software ban, not a ban against multi-boxing in general.

Dont think of it as being too late for classic but rather just in time for TBC-Classic to have protection

Always follow the money. Blizz is a corporation and the bet is they will make more money from people buying and selling wow tokens in retail instead of getting the gold at a cheaper price from a chinese multiboxer that sells it through a website. Yea they will lose all them subs. But they crunch numbers. Im sure the numbers say they will make more money

Question, what if you use a KVM switch? and use Hardware instead to control multiple characters at once? (one character per PC). Would this also be against TOS going forward?

Funny thing is, this change won’t stop bots. At all.

If that was their goal, it will fail, miserably.

and every bot has a human behind it. someone has to make sure their bot isnt just running into a wall for 24hrs straight, someone has to swap out banned accounts for fresh ones, someone has to setup new accounts with new scripts, someone has to make sure they’re selling their gold properly

like hello, its not just some computer doing everything

They get almost no sub money from multiboxers, they all pay for Argentina accounts that are $2 a month.

its not against TOS nor possible to detect a hardware kvm or a intricate virtual machine kvm either… blizz just nerfed 90% of boxers but 10% of us will survive and enjoy laughing at all the mb haters mad their economys are still in mess from botters… and tokens crashing to low values

they get 20bucks a month from us per account idk about this 2dollar crap seems you justmake up stuff. you prolly bot and want flak on boxers so you can bot in the shadows

It specifically mentions “use of third-party input broadcasting software, which allows a single keystroke or action to be automatically mirrored to multiple game clients”.

This is specifically targeting people that use software that sees you press “F” and inputs it on multiple clients. Does nothing for the 3rd party teleport/fly hack software.

I mean technically when bot programs play a game it was programmed by the human to do that so it was just repeating what a human did keystroke wise perfectly.

Yes Argentina accounts pay $2/month Brazil is $7.

you make the account on Argentina and its $2/mo
