But that means I get more money for the reagents I sell.

Doesn’t even stop multiboxing at all anyone who does it seriously understands how to use a hypervisor or a hardware multiplexor

Well, that only took 15 years.

All that sounds incredibly technical :grimacing: I wonder if there’s anyone I can contact to help me.

Think the last time I watched that was 2004? I miss that Angelina Jolie :weary:

No but it is progress. As those things are also harder to detect automatically, Bliz may be waiting until they have better detection processes in play before (hopefully) banning those as well.

Guess i’m not buying or playing WoW anymore. Diablo 4 either.

You can’t detect what a hypervisor does through a virtual machine, Sorry but there is nothing they can do to stop that.

Another change to fight bots that hits others with the blast.
Follow in BGs was an anti-bot change.
Now this, again to hurt bots.

Guess what, the bots don’t care about the rules. This change only hurts the people who were playing legit.

It was the only time Angelina Jolie was hot imo

:open_mouth: What about Tomb Raider? I liked her in Gia as well :+1:

EXACTLY. Definitely refunds should be required from blizzard for additional purchases of BFA 49.99 usd, and shadowlands 39.99 each on each account, as well at $81 per account every 6 months, plus all the character service fees (transfers from servers and factions and from multiple accounts). This is a serious violation to change the terms of service after accepting all that money

That’s not strictly true. It is difficult, but not impossible at all. Also there are other ways. For example monitoring characters in close proximity to each other for mirrored actions.

Thank you Blizz for making it easier to quit your game (and for saving me a ton of cash) - I plan on MB until you ban me for good.

wow, multibox abusers were finally targeted by blizzard? btw it doesnt matter how many BS loop holes you try to find around the ISboxer ban, blizzard now sees that style of gameplay as a bannable offense. maybe youll get around it for a period of time, but if the game becomes a sad state in the future like it is now because of boxers, you can sure as hell bet it will be banned too.

This, and they can even add things like fake or random input delay to make it seem like the player in question is just really good at alt-tabbing between clients.

Still, it is nice that they’re willing to implement a change that is sure to lose them some subs in the short run. After all, every MB they ban is multiple paying accounts lost.

Battleground multiboxing is useless right now. Pointless. Multibox with melee in WPVP was still very much viable, since interact with target would make your clones run to and stick with your target. Given certain conditions were met like open and unobstructed environment, the victim would have little chance of survival. This was extremely irritating to deal with. An easy fix to this problem would be to disable interact with target while in pvp combat, or just flat out issue a 24-48 hour suspension on their account. I can guarantee war mode will be disabled immediately when they log back in.
The things people are mad about actual multi-boxers doing can easily be fixed in other ways. Fix nodes to be 1:1 like they used to be, limit loot/eliminate 2x4 hyper-spawning, punish wpvp multiboxers, etc.
Bots will still bot since they don’t use input mirror software.
People will still use multiple druids with macroed follow to fly around and multitap nodes with less efficiency. People can still alt tab through multiple accounts to hyper-spawn farm with less efficiency.
Individual people with multiple accounts will still tank the markets. Separate actual people in 2x4 hyper-spawn groups will still tank the market. A 10 person raid herb/mining farm group will also still tank the market.
Fix what is allowing the market to be tanked and not people 5x farming Oondasta for a 1/3000+ chance at a mount that doesn’t affect your gaming experience. -_-

It is very much strictly true, Blizzard isn’t banning multiboxing.

They are banning the use of a software broadcaster

They aren’t banning the use of hardware multiplexers and hypervisors (They can’t)

And it is impossible by very nature of EVERYONE PLUGGING EVERY POSSIBLE SECURITY HOLE to detect what the hypervisor is doing through a virtual machine, If such a hole was to exist, The finances of the world and data security of the world would be in extreme jepeordy.
