For a lot of folks, it adds a depth of complexity and interest to the game, keeping it fresh, even after 14 years.

Itâs a pr stunt. They can say they ban the software and the anti mbers scream in joy and in a few days they wonder why there are still so many multi boxers running because there are so many easy to use ways to mb this change doesnât cover.
Itâs like people never heard of multiple cheap computers with numpads using macros

At least youâll be able to invest your money towards something more productive now than flaunting on a forum how many Horde you killed while pressing buttons in a video game.

Same. There are in game addons that will strobe follow and mount your team for you. All in all this announcement changes nothing about the economy. Change it to one node>one loot like it used to be and get rid of this hyper-spawn nonsense while theyâre at it and weâll be golden. Oh. And start detecting actual botsâŠ

Of course I havenât multiboxed because itâs cheating. When they start creating this game around playing 10 characters at once with 3rd party software to imitate keystrokes across characters, then Iâll start multiboxing. Thereâs no real skill involved. Only cheating and creating an unfair environment.
Youâre not a taxpayer and you have no say in how Blizzard operates. You paid for a service, they gave it to you. Look elsewhereâŠ

The complainer have no idea how difficult it is to do it.
They just seem to think you click 2 buttons and everything is done.
The little I did it, multiboxing was more of a challenge and more fun than raiding. It was l8keold raiding all prep and less once things work

Well I dont think honestly what they spend there money on is any of your business tbh just like its not my business what u spend yours onâŠor how much you pay for your house or car or how much you make a hour
That is because they actually think it is automated gameplay.
There wouldnt be any complaints if they knew that you actually have to made all the decisions yourself and press the right buttons.

When youâre walking around in BGs and one shotting people with 5 characters or ganking people as one player in world PVP, itâs cheating.

Why do people act like this is a ban against multiboxing, All it is, Is a ban against broadcast software, There are so many ways to mirror inputs to multiple clients it isnât funny, Up to and including physical methods which were what were used originally.
Nowhere here does blizzard state multiboxing is banned.

That wasnât the point I was making.
When the pandemic is officially done and people are allowed to be human again they wonât be sitting behind a PC playing an inferior game. Then we will see the fairweather fans of the game gone. Itâll only be the hardcore audience.
This change cuts into that hardcore audience. So right now the inflated numbers make it look like a good move. Letâs see what it looks like when those inflated numbers are gone.

I think some are smart enough to know you have to press buttons but most have no idea how much work is involved in setting up a team

I have never PVPâd nor gathered the same node with multiple toons. I multibox because itâs entertaining to go out and quest like that. Itâs entertaining to set up the macros and location of spells on multiple toons. Itâs more convenient to click on the same quest reward once instead of alt tab and click and trading between my two toons is easier. I just genuinely enjoy the gameplay.
