Policy Update for Input Broadcasting Software

Im fine with that too

No. If you use software to do it.

Damn I hope they aren’t getting rid of follow, sometimes as healer I go on follow so I can run to pee and not get left behind by spazzy rush ahead tanks lol

That’s what I said - just make the nodes tied to battlenet tags rather than game license. Then you’d be limited to the number of battlenet accounts you’re permitted to have and blizzard would only lose out on sales past that limit.

This tech already exists. My team can only get one Blingtron box per day, even if all three of me click him at the same time.

exactly how did i do that?

So many valid arguments on this page that get drowned in regurgitated ‘about time’ nonsense.
I had a great time figuring out how to run dungeons and farming things like mounts and toys this xpac that don’t hurt the economy.
Address the real problem. Fix nodes to be 1/1, fix hyper-spawns, be more active in detecting actual automated bots, and punish WPVP multiboxers.
Leave my Nalak boxers alone.

I support Blizzard’s decision to no longer allow third party software to replicate key strokes between game clients. I can understand why they made this decision and I do feel that it is good for the economy and overall health of the game.

Today I uninstalled ISBoxer/Innerspace permanently.

I will still keep 2 to 3 accounts and dabble in dual-boxing, just put myself on /follow and maybe still farm a little here and there. Not as efficient as it used to be, but I’ll manage.

It’s a break-up song, because Blizzard and multiboxers have broken up after all these years together. It’s also a good tune.

Not even the WPVPers it isnt like multiboxers can do BGS OR Arenas (no autofollow)

Just checking in here. I am totally against this. I multibox, sometimes, it’s the only reason I have more than one account. I don’t pvp, I don’t hardly even gather any resources
i multibox to explore and overcome personal challenges associated with multiboxing. I think perhaps the real issue with multiboxing are the systems blizzard has put in place (multiple people mining the same node as an example). To be honest I don’t have any reason to upgrade or keep these other accounts now. I don’t expect any players or blizzard to care but wanted to check in.

That’s great. I’m glad you think it’s fun. Just because it’s fun doesn’t make it fair. It is automation. I don’t know how you guys can sit there and seriously defend it the way you are.

We get it. You’ve been doing it for years and having a blast with it until now. Good riddance, bye bye, cya later

I honestly can’t believe that we have to hope that Activision steps in here to fix this situation.

It’s NOT AUTOMATION. I cannot step back and let things do themselves. I have to actually control the game. I just have the keypress of 1 go to two game clients instead of being imprisoned to one and have an in game macro to /assist maintoon /cast spell.

Ya IKR as much as (most of the players that have been here since basically the beg) dont much care for the acquisition we can hope they see all the refunds and be like ummm ya that was a bad idea we need to fix this

This change will bring nothing but good to the game and it’s health. The people quitting over this makes it a double win. /Victory

You need to look up the word automation
what we do isnt automation that would be a bot which is even what the TOS said before this announcement even blizz knew the differnce

I’m just glad the threads about “multiboxing must go” will (hopefully) go away now.

Imprisoned to one client LMAO you guys act like it’s a sin to only have one client up. Get used to it or quit the game buddy
