Policy Update for Input Broadcasting Software

Won’t this just make auction house prices much higher since there will be far fewer mega farmers?

Blizzard is famous for using a hammer when they need a scalpel.

You’re right, they could have limited clients, but no, they went nuclear instead.

It is now. :relieved:

1 keystroke 1 action.

Thank you blizzard.

This is total crap. I only ever dual boxed for RP reasons and never bothered a single person. Instead of trying to ban the jerks who do this on 20 characters, they screwed everyone.

It only took 16 years but hey, better late than never!

it has always been, Blizzard just allowed because it is profitable, but it seems the negatives are finally outweighing the positives so they just made it officially cheating

Exactly. They are about to lose a ton of money doing stupid crap like this. It’s been part of the game for 15+ years and they want to ruin everyone’s fun because of a few idiots. Just like they screw over twinks because of crybabies.

So if someone set up Windows to send out keystrokes to multiply applications its still ok because from a technical point of view, Windows isn’t a 3rd party software because it’s the main operative system?

Actually good news for SL?

Well according to the cognoscenti, the entire purpose of Pathfinder was to bleed subscriptions.

So, this can’t be that new.

Congrats Blizz, you made the call you should have made a decade or more ago. Glad it’s finally happening.

There was an inferred/implied limit. 8 clients for your 1 blizzard account. People just didn’t care.
