Multiboxing has been one of my main issues with the game for many years and to see that it’s finally going to be a bannable offense makes me feel all warm inside

But it’s not bannable…unless you use software to do it. Luckily, before I switched to ISBoxer, I used the tried and true method of alt-tabbing to the other client on my second monitor.

So, I will continue to multibox my duo-team.

If you alt tab between your characters to pick an herb or whatever with one click per one gather cast that’s completely fine. No one said you won’t be able to alt tab to another account. 1 stroke = 1 action

I used to 5box many years ago during the Wotlk days, did 5man dungeons by myself but got bored of it. This ban doesn’t bother me much, I feel bad for the players that did their own thing like me and didn’t bother the economy or other players or PvP.

I wish more effort would go into banning botters though.

anti-cheat looks at manipulation of the game files, related game processes and memory space. I’m fine with this. I am not fine with them casually snooping around my system; this is a privacy issue to me, well beyond multiboxing.

I had two druids I tried to multi-box but I was so bad at it they just ended up arguing. It was funny because people couldn’t tell what was going on.

I too use to see my elves fight with each other. Players close by would sometimes try to break it up yet I would just let them fight.
