Also - just an fyi multiboxing isn’t banned, replicating keystrokes is. You can still multibox.
Lastly - at least Blizz made a forum post about this time. In the past they’ve relied on twitter or after the fact notifications, as if as players we are somehow clairvoyant, so thanks for this at least.
Have to disagree. There are plenty of things you can do with multiboxing that will not cripple the economy or grief players.
Whatever they decide, I do think they should change back to one mining/herbalism node one loot and a 5 cap on mob loot in open world content. I feel like this is a major reason they did it.
However, people can still cripple the economy by having 10 people follow someone collecting nodes and forming 2x4 hyper-spawn groups.
I know Blizzard is doing this under the guise to ban botters, but this is not going to fix the in-game economy.
What a joke this will not stop the boter’s you are punishing the average played who has more than one account. You are doing this because you cant be bothered (or it to hard) to get the real boters and gold sellers. Do it watch you subs drop so much it not funny. You just lost 5 more subs enjoy. and ps i have never used the extra soft ware i only tab between. but the the principle of the matter. Good bye
But it’s not bannable…unless you use software to do it. Luckily, before I switched to ISBoxer, I used the tried and true method of alt-tabbing to the other client on my second monitor.
Ok so you are another one of those just trolling individuals. Blizzard’s official stance is that multiboxing is not cheating. You don’t need to agree but you are wrong. This generation is so disappointing. So many of you make huge emotional leaps with no logical thinking.
Blizzard actually can’t control something like IO, or people being selective about who they recruit to their groups. Nothing you or they do will ever change that. It’s a leaderboard that people base their choices on. Even if you removed io (you never will, by the way.) it’ll be replaced or worked around fairly easily.
This is a third party program that directly impacts the game, that’s something that can be actioned directly.
