Blizzard cut short a good raid (Ulduar) and put out a bad raid (Tournament) with a ton of problems.
It also coincidentally had no trash, but that’s not what bothered poeple.
Blizzard focused in on the fact that their deliberately bad raid had no trash, and has used it ever since as a justification for why they waste everyone’s time with tons of pointless trash.
And some people actually fall for it. /sigh
You can’t though. Unless you’re a mind reader you’d be assuming what they like based on a few individuals comments.
Please… next you’re going to tell me that the majority liked that we were locked to our covenants.
You’re acting the same as those that denied that the majority of the players wanted to have the ripcord pulled.
It’s said before but just increase BoE drops or add other goodies in trash. I like the feeling of “storming the castle”, but it feels better when they have little goodie bags sometimes.

If we take out the trash how would PVP be possible? After all the Alliance would be no more.
You’d still have crucible of storms where right as you enter over half get mced and you actually get honor points killing your own faction.

This goes against Blizzard’s core philosophy of extending game play for as long as you can. With the trash in the raid, chances are the average player raid group will not be clearing the raid each week. This means their 3 little coin things will take longer than 6 weeks to get. Thus extending the player being in the game for longer than 6 weeks. The last thing they want is for the players to quit 6 weeks into an 8 month patch.
op, you do know mobs have a chance of dropping raid items that are BoE right?
The season is shorter than a normal one…
That’s not a good reason though, the items are only 3… you need 12 more to deck out your character.

We can live without boe’s for a raid. Or put the trash on the sides so the players can go and focus on the bosses.

I love in FF14 how you just go from boss to boss in most raids. It’s great.

Don’t get too excited, it would be only for Season 4 raids due to short season and weekly Fated transition.
Have an idea… not popular though. Make Raid+. You find trash boring? Pull the trash with the Boss like MDI is doing.
We could ask for more trash to be pulled to the boss if the first group of trash dies fast.
We’re already doing Raid+ btw… it’s called Fated and it has an affix to it.
Maybe go and read about this new mode.
So we should not ask to delete trash. We need more trash.
