Not sure if it’s honesty or an act. Negativity certainly gets more eyes then positivity (unless you are the dodo) and many youtubers adopt a persona.

They shouldn’t charge a sub because you got triggered by a video. They need as many people testing as possible.

He shouldn’t be making content just to praise the game either. He’s a commentator, and one of a select few of the closest thing WoW has to scholars and experts. When the game is at its best, he’s allowed to promote it and to highlight Blizzard’s wins. It’s only fair that when the game is at its worst, he’s also allowed to point at what’s very, very wrong.
It’s also of note that both Bellular and Preach pivoted away from being exclusively WoW channels. They talk up FFXIV because they also decided to cover that game. That’s a necessary move, considering WoW’s audience is only shrinking as the years go by while FF’s is growing. No creator for whom Youtube is their long term bread winner is gonna be able to stay WoW exclusive forever.

Have you considered the posibility that if there’s so much negative feedback maybe something might be wrong with the game?

You seriously don’t get the difference in stating opinions, and admitting to just milking people like a disgusting leech. And that’s sad.
And they could have actual players or those who like the game be the testers.
I don’t care that he covers FF too. I care that he openly has said he is milking ppl and profiting off of it. When he doesn’t even like the game.
They do have actual players test. So there’s no problem there.
IDK why an irrelevant player like OP is upset that Bellular is testing the game for free.
Even Blizzard is fine with it.

Frankly i’d be all for blizzard going full on Smoughs hammer on all the people who do nothing but bash this game. At this point it’d be doing them a huge favor so they can finally move on.

I don’t mind that they have negative feedback, it’s good for the game. But when all they say is negative, it becomes problem. Especially when they’re just milking the playerbase openly for views and money.

FFXIV is now doing this. They hold content creators and steamers accountable for their actions, I wish WoW would follow suit on it.
Again, it’s not that I just don’t like him. He physically said he’s just going to leech off of WoW for views and money. That’s what I’m against, and that’s why I’ve made this point.

You should at least be honest with yourself.
You DO care he is negative and that is fine…own it.
He is under no obligation to give Blizzard one ounce of positivity or to make videos giving fair and balanced and constructive feedback…hell we don’t even have news organizations (and ones legally setup as entertainment but yet reports the news) that require that.
Blizzard has every right to terminate his account and/or block access to him if they want. Again, that’ll give him more content for his trash videos, but the choice is always there.
I 100% agree with you that there should be an active sub required to have access to the PTR. It isn’t like that is a hard requirement and one he’ll do anyway. His measly $15 gives him more because of videos he can make than without.
You have every right to be offended by the content of his videos and expect him to switch to a more constructive format…but that expectation is not one he has to respect or bend to. You are free to remove your viewership from him and “hurt” him financially to the maximum that allows…and that’s enough.
I detest pretty much all the big name streamers (not all by any means) and watch none. It may be a fraction of a penny I denied them, but they aren’t worth even that fraction to me.
