Please Start Requiring a Sub for PTR

If anything, he makes me respect the heck out of other content creators like Pyromancer and Preach. Because they just kind of washed their hands and stopped paying attention to WoW, and committed to the bit and stopped making content on it.

Bellular’s just riding that rage click wave for as long as he can. And I don’t know that the game could get bad enough to dissuade his brand of poop stirring.

Don’t watch that streamer, perhaps? Or, you could make your own videos the way you like?

You want less feedback then if you want the public part of testing restricted. Which works against having problems found and reported.

The problem with testing isn’t whether someone out there makes a negative video. It’s not enough people testing, especially earlier on. And Blizz not listening to anything in the pages and pages of constructive feedback.

I’ve participated in testing. And your minor personal gripe and your solution for it works against a successful public test by restricting it to subs only. Because a lot of players take breaks in between patches.

You are both.

He’s not the only one that tests in PTR. She’s not asking for Bellular to be removed. Or even content creators to be removed, but anyone without a sub.

Plenty of players take breaks between patches.

Let me guess, you’re Cthuwu’s alt, because you both have the same speech pattern, and he suddenly stoped posting. You also both seem to be going to the same direction. Especially when you keep trying to antagonise me, and I just haven’t responded.

I’m pretty sure if I poked through your account data, I’d find out that you are in fact the same person. Get out here clown.

And that would be fine, but we both know that is not the situation here.

You are delusional if you think the public has any significant influence on testing. The PTR, like betas, are more for drumming up hype and giving tryhards early access to devise strats and practice.

And certainly most who access the PTR are doing it for the same reasons…early access and to see/do new stuff.

My thoughts exactly, he likely won’t test it. He’ll just go through the story quests for lore videos, and then keep bashing WoW in his other content. But he isn’t the person who’s really ever done much testing.

Yup, Bells echos the same general points of feed back he has his co worker scour the internet for. Bashes on WoW and his fan base eats it up.

PTR should definitely be sub only if it isn’t already. But then it would need to be called the private test realm :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

LMAO whatever dude, everyone is just making fun of you simping for your frat boyz.

The situation is someone getting so upset at a video that they want public test restricted. Which works against a public test and provides less chances of finding bugs and other problems.

Just don’t watch the negative videos. If someone is always negative, ignore them. Watch something else.

Public does at the very least find and report bugs. I am one of them.

I understand the situation completely. And while I am fine with it being open to everyone, trying to use the excuse that “he will test” is a BS argument at best. He is just going to use it for free access to content so he can continue to make videos about a game he is clearly no longer playing.

I don’t and I haven’t in a long time. I would rather shave my legs with a sea shell and endure his stuff :stuck_out_tongue:

Most of us don’t like the current version of WoW. There is a fine line between being a hamster in a wheel with rewards or just a foolish donkey who chases a carrot they never will get. We’re approaching the later category, these are the end times. If 10.0 doesn’t hit, then the game will be on life support.

Frankly, I prefer people like him make money off the idiots that are dumb enough to give him their money, than collecting welfare. Cause that’s his other option, he doesn’t have any useful skills worth paying money for.

I never said he will test. I’m not talking about him. But plenty of other players that test before coming back to the game for the new patch.

If him being in it and making negative videos incensed Blizz enough they’d do something about it. It doesn’t bother me, because there are plenty of people who leave constructive feedback on the PTR forums.

Actually, it takes a lot of effort and talent to get to this position. It’s the other way around.

Talent, yes, you have to be somewhat entertaining, effort? Not so much.
As someone who produces videos, I can promise you, youtubers are the most low effort you can get.

I avoid this issue by not watching streamers…

seems pretty straightforward to me !?
