No, I’m good with acknowledging that you aren’t a good person by how you present yourself here.
Except… if you already have the piece you can’t roll on it unless it rolls socket or higher ilvl. So the only way you can, is if you PURPOSELY get rid of the named item just to roll on it again and take it from someone else.
Don’t hate the player, hate the game.
Only if you have the EXACT same piece at the EXACT same ilvl. In which case, I already have the mog unlocked. Why would I roll on mog I already have ?
Logic.
Have group loot enabled for full guild run only. 1 single person in raid in another guild? Immediately revert to personal loot.
I don’t hate things, that’s a lot of wasted energy.
Hating people is even worse for your own mental health. Hate what makes people act the way they do, not the people acting within the proposed system.
Acknowledging that you aren’t a good person doesn’t mean I hate you.
Because you literally said you would vote need on everything?
I am a good person, I play by the rules.
If the dice lights up, yes I will.
You should probably see a therapist about those delusions.
I disagree with most of this.
Just to take this one as an example. If you pull this in a guild, you would get gkicked. In a pug, no one would agree to the “pass on everything” approach.
At the end of the day, it all boils down to “do you have a solo player mentality or a raid team mentality”.
I honestly don’t want haste/mastery gloves if my primary stats are crit/vers. PL basically forces me to get stuck with them given how the trading works (or at the very least be relegated back to lowest priority for trades in a guild).
There is a valid argument to be made that pug only groups (< 80% guild) could/should still be PL.
Still I prefer to see the loot and get a chance to roll. It feels more like an mmo. It feels better to me even if i lose roll, than to go 80% of raid and get nothing and then for the 20% get a dupe item (or something I don’t need) automatically looted to me with no say on rolling.
People telling others about needing therapy on forums are usually projecting. Especially when it’s about people saying they’ll follow the rules.
Blizzard made the rules. Not my fault.
Well I mean… you are the one sitting here saying you’re going to roll on everything and vendor it even when you don’t need it. So unless a rule gets added that either if you have higher ilvl or the mog already unlocked disables your Need roll, all you’re doing is taking loot from people who have no power over the decision of whether to use GL/PL/ML.
I personally agreed with ML/GL if it was guild only. Forcing this onto pugs is going to have unintended consequences… but then maybe that is what you’re after. Death to the pug scene.
Yes, because usually mog isn’t a “need”. Nor are badly stated rings, especially of lower ilvl.
But the rules allow need rolling. In LFR, there’s no downside to need rolling on this stuff. Heck, you can maybe use that ring to exchange later on for a better item.
Which is how it functioned between WoD and the removal of ML. They could have modified that to 100% and cured even the slight potential of pugs ninja-looting, but nope.
You’re the reason Blizzard needs to implement account-wide ignore, so people that just want to play the game normally can avoid ever grouping with you in any content.
Some people consider being a garbage human to be a downside, but you do you bro.
I am playing the game normally. The game works this way and I’m following its rules.
You’re the one wanting to add rules which don’t exist.
Following the rules is the opposite of being a garbage human.
You guys are the ones wanting to make up your own rules. That’s pretty bad behavior.
What rules am I wanting to add?
