Please revert back to Personal Loot / Here is why

They literally fixed your issue by just removing trading restrictions. The whole GL thing is just piling on some extra L.

And I disagree. I think group loot is the win here as someone who’s head of an organized environment. We begged for trading restrictions to be removed since the beginning of PL because the problems became obvious. And people were hollering and screaming that guilds would abuse it and all this other nonsense.

Well, now we have a new system. Everybody wins.

You forget, even if one person in the group isn’t a guildie then they’ll get 0 what then pass them? give it all guild member that person lose time and effort .Good for payed runs though.

No it hasn’t.

False.

Group loot is great for guilds. It’s terrible for pugs.

Actually, GL in those environments is an L still. It’s ML with extra steps again.

Guilds win somewhat. Pugs and LFR lose

People like you are why Blizzard is also immune to providing options.

Honestly, they should remove trade restrictions but then it would just cause more problems it’s a catch 22.

None of which are real problems.

Years ago I saw a funny little youtube cartoon thing about hunter loot. A shield drops and the hunter rolls on it and the pally is like “You can’t even use that!” and the hunter said “Well not with that attitude.”

It is because if the group is payed for that loot goes to one person, either way even in lfr.

People like me was begging for options from the beginning and thoroughly ignored. Blizzard doesn’t provide options because Blizzard doesn’t like options. It has nothing to do with individual thoughts nor feedback.

That’s not a problem.

Preach. We asked for ML to remain an option and people screeched to the high heavens. Well enjoy your turn not having an option. Maybe next time you won’t be so quick to shout someone down.

In a group setting with people (guild) yes it a good option to have but to generalize it to other forms it is a disaster.

And now rejoicing others lost their option is hypocritical.

When they took ML, I was asking for options. Now that they take PL, I’m still asking for options.

Because I’m not a massive hypocrite.

Pettiness and hypocrisy is ugly.

I’ll make a bet with you… That we’ll have a post about group loot abuse within the first week of season 1 launching. I’ll buy you any mount or non-combat pet from the Blizzard store if I lose and gift it to you.

Try that in a pug and it is notice half way through they change it.

It’s called karma and there is nothing petty or hypocritical about it.

Fixed that for you…

That wasn’t the only option even requested. Specifically, people provided montains of options.

• Obviously, ML was one of them.

• Another was making it so people could hide their loot but would no longer have trade restrictions.

• Another was make it so in 100% guild groups, the restrictions are removed.

People who had been hoping to just aid their friends in organized settings jumped through flaming hoops to try and compromise to make the organized raiding environment less depressing. Well, now we can.
