Please reconsider your stance on retail/classic reward linking

Those pets are still part of that collections system. That connection cannot simply be removed by waving your hand and saying it does not exist.

CMs say something we don’t like

“WE HATES THEM!! THE ARE SO ANTI CLASSIC!!”

CMs say something with like

“WE LOVE THEM!! THEY ARE LOOKING OUT FOR US!!!”

Are those pets still part of the collections system? YES or NO?

You don’t get it. Blizzard can write the code to ignore the system.

They are part if it NOW, they do NOT need to be part of it to be enabled for Classic, what part are you not understanding?

and yes the connection can be pretty simply removed by Blizzard, and nowhere did I ever say the were not part of the collection system now, they are, as are all the pets available in Vanilla, but yet their presence doesn’t seem to set any precedent, lol.

It’s irrelevnat if they’re part of the system because Blizzard can ignore the whole thing. Just like they use the current client but ignore guild banks by not using them.

Get it?

Even if they used another means to grant those pets in Classic, those pets would still be part of the collections system in retail, and connected to that system.

As I said, I can explain it to you, but I cannot understand it for you. I also cannot prevent you from being willfully obtuse and choosing to try ignore that connection.

I do not believe that connection could simply be removed, even by Blizzard. it seems to me that the only ways that connection could be removed would be to remove those pets from the collections system or to remove the collections system entirely.

I really hope you enjoy Classic without those pets.

You don’t know how simple code works but you’re telling us how code works?

You’re way over your head on this, son.

Would you buy them if they came packaged in a WoW Classic Collectors Edition?

I said I would

I’ve been an advocate for a Classic CE, that only applies to Classic, whether that classic CE offers the same pets or different ones.

As to whether I would purchase a Classic CE, that would depend upon whether or not I thought that Classic CE contained enough value for the price.

Are those pets still part of the collections system? YES or NO?

Lolwut??? Blizzard’s JOB is to write code

I already said it’s irrelevant. Blizzard can write code to do hatever they want the game to do.

So what!!! It makes ZERO difference, lol, The system is NOT needed to add them to Classic, your made up ‘precedent’ does not exist.

LOL, You are the one who is being obtuse, no idea why either, you make up something I never said and ignore facts, nowhere have I ever said they were not connected, all I said is that is does NOT matter that they are.

You have got to be kidding, They still exist as a flag, the quest can be re enabled, compared to what else they are doing to make Classic happen, this is something much simpler to accomplish.

Oh so no digital content for their other titles?

That wasn’t for you that was for Fesz the forum likes to make it as hard to see that as possible it seems.

Considering that Blizzard tracks what product keys you have on your account and differentiate between Vanilla and Vanilla CE in the key I’m gonna say that I could break the connection while drunk at 3 in the morning.

and not the “confers superhuman programming skill” kind of drunk, either.

Ok, curious to see just how much interest there is in this.

Could you remove those pets from the collections system?

If not, then you did not break the connection. You merely found a way around it.
