Lie. This was only possible back in Warlords and even then it wasn’t this amount of gold. In legion you needed the mission table to unlock stuff for your artifact weapon you didn’t waste time farming for gold. Not the average normal players.
This is false. I am not a cash for token person, nor am I a raider or mythic+ person. I didnt even do a + run until the very end of BfA just to try it out. I have almost 900k on my main, and thats considering the fact that I have purchased well over a dozen tokens from the AH to pay for my sub and other Blizz games. Gold is easy to make.

legion every character every day had 1-2 gold missions 2600+2600 bonus.
You farmed for gold then. No normal player does this. Even still regardless the 1000s of gold you spent on tokens you would still never had reached 5 million.
Farming is a waste of time. Look at your servers auction house see the prices of items in high demand and buy them low and sell them high. It’s even easier now after the auction house got easier to navigate and buy cheap mats in bulk. OwO
No. This is too tedious to be remotely entertaining. Plus you’re an admitted odd duck. You had the gold, but choose not to get the mount. You’re not normal.
there are cooler gold sink mounts for less gold on the horizon. id rather get those

Thats YOUR argument. Blizz felt otherwise. Its their game, they call the shots. According to you, Blizz shouldn’t pull anything from the game. There should be no short term items. First, I only had one main in legion and didn’t run a lot of alts because the game was not alt-friendly at the time. Second, the mount wasn’t available in Legion, so unless I had a crystal ball how would I know it was worth farming 5 million gold in Legion? This makes no sense.

I did this with the remote AH. But they removed it… right? so meh. This was entertaining for a small amount of time for a small amount of ez gold.
No it’s not little vulpera friend. I made 2mil easily just doing farming not even playing the AH at all. It’s worth it if you go after the right items. /shrugs/ Saying it’s a waste of time when it’s not. It depends on the person’s way of making gold really. As well as what sells good on a server that your on.
That is the point though isn’t it. 5 million was a crazy goal that only pro raiders, streamers and crazies could obtain not the average player.
You keep saying “mathematically possible” but I don’t think you know what it means.

And that’s the reason the brutosaur existed. To siphon some of that gold out of the economy. It was never meant for normal players with only a few thousand gold on their account

I’m not annoyed. What “experience” are the creating resentment in? The experience of not trying to get a brutosaur? Next you will tell us they are causing “suffering” in the player base?
You are right in that I have less than 1 million, but if I wanted more I could have sold my mats instead of leveling my professions. I could have sold the potions, gems, and enchants my toons made instead of keeping them for myself. I didn’t want to and made a decision.

im the most average player ever, i transmog farm, i do world quests, and the occasional raid finder. the mission table of legion was my main content. so i made 12 characters to 120 and farmed the legion table that was some good content.
and today because im smart with my spending im part of the 1% i guess.

the mount was never meant to be something that anyone can get, regardless of the time gate. If you really wanted the mount, you’d farm the gold over the bfa expansion. If you had the gold from wod/legion, you were closer than others. Anyone who cared enough to get the mount, got it.

Yea I know that, but this isn’t the topic. The topic is crying over the mount being removed even though you’ll likely never be able to obtain it. It’s going in be in the black market ah so maybe you’ll get lucky there and catch everyone sleeping on it. Wait… what was this topic about?
